Reviews
Write a ReviewThe contractor completed the work on time and to my satisfaction. They were willing to return if I found a detail that needs attention.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Ken at KTM Construction to rebuild my deck, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Ken and his team took the time to understand my vision and offered invaluable advice on selecting the right materials that perfectly complemented my backyard space. Their experience really shone through as they explained the benefits of various materials, helping me make an informed decision that balanced aesthetics, durability, and cost. Their recommendations were spot-on, and the finished product is top-notch quality! Communication with KTM Construction was seamless. They kept me informed at every stage of the project and promptly addressed any questions or concerns I had. I highly recommend KTM Construction for any deck-building or backyard projects. If you're looking for a reliable and knowledgeable contractor to enhance your outdoor living space, KTM Construction is the perfect choice.
I hired KTM Construction (a) to power wash my whole house, including the roof, (b) to replace the rotten exterior wooden trim, which included fascias and soffits, and (c) to paint the exterior of the whole house. Ken Magda, the owner of KTM Construction, was very flexible and helpful in finalizing the terms of the contract before signing it. The power washing was done by a power washing company and the trim replacement and painting were provided by a sub-contractor. All work was done very professionally. The trim and painting sub-contractor and the main person (labor), who did the actual trim work and painting, were very cooperative to listen to my concerns and re-do the work, where necessary. The work was done excellently and in a very timely manner.
All great guys. Great work, â Very old schoolâ , in the sense that HE STICKS TO HIS WORD IN THE BEST WAY IMAGINABLE. Timing was perfect extremely punctual, we agreed on a fair price/ he didnâ t change the price mid way though the project. The customer service and attention to detail was soooo GREAT, I hired him back a week later to complete another job. It was a breath of fresh air working with Ken & his team, a group of guys that you donâ t have to walk behind and knit pick B.S. I will be hiring them again, again, and again as long as Ken is in the business of making Money. Did I mention I will continue to only work with Ken and his team on any project I get into. Not paid a penny for the review, just that important to give flowers when their due. Huge Thanks again to Jimmy and Ken. You got a loyal customer.
Tim McClure and his son Kevin are the best in the business. They are professional, caring, and not out to rip you off.
I hired this company to replace my roof, gutters and skylights. The day they were to start, they didn't show up until 3pm. They didnt do much. The next day they showed up at noon with a dumpster which they proceeded to tear up my yard with. All the workers spoke Spanish-no English at all. They were constantly late. I was told by the salesman, Ken, that the whole job would only take 3-4. It took 10. We had them replace our existing skylights. We purchased them from a different business and the replacements were about a foot shorter than what we had. The workers asked if they could use some of our scrap lumber to fill the space. What they did was take a 10 ft. board, cut two feet off the end and then took the remaining 8 ft. board with them! The skylights leak constantly. I've had them out 3 times to caulk and they still leak. My husband had to climb on the roof and caulk it himself. There were several large gaps without caulk. The top of both skylights didn't have any caulk at all. The gutters were installed too low. KTM tried to charge us for 480 ft of gutters. We have 285. I had to argue with Ken and hold back the final payment until Ken corrected the bill. We also had to caulk where the downspouts were connected to the gutters as it wasn't caulked. When they were finally finished they started the "clean up". They used a leaf blower and blew all the garbage into my landscape and fish ponds. I like my new roof but, the process to get it was awful. I do not recommend this company.
I am very sorry you are disappointed. The subcontractor I used is no longer doing work for me. and in defense, I showed up with topsoil and grass seed and fixed tire tracks in your yard. I was on the roof personally, trying to make it right. I don't remember any arguments about money, the final roof looked excellent, all for a very reasonable price. Remodeling is stressful... I understand. This is my first bad review in 35 years!
We had a privacy fence installed in our backyard and they completed the project with such care and definitely went for quality in every step. The owner came out and gave us a detailed estimate and stuck to his word. He gave us a couple of options and listened to our wants and concerns. He was easy to communicate with and kept us informed through every step of the process. The crew was also very respectful and kept the work are neat and orderly. It just goes to show that they actual care and take pride in the work that they do.
I highly recommend KTM construction! I will look no where else for anything that needs to be done, in or out side of our property. The level of craftsmanship is 5 star service across the board! The level of detail, knowledge and professionalism is 5 star service across the board! Ken is a great guy to do business with. Ken is honest and up front about everything! My wife and I were so at ease through every step of the project when Ken and his staff were present. We had no worries or concerns if we were home or in and out 50 times. Ken is very honest and courteous and the level of un seen detail is priceless! There were no hidden cost and if there was any price adjustment options that needed to be done, Ken is up front and honest. We were able to budget and plan with ease through the 5 week time frame, thanks to Ken and the level of information and inclusion he kept us up to date on. We never had a question un answered. That is a very hard thing to find anymore with most people and organizations. The design and build of our new shed (mini garage) and 2 level deck that Ken constructed,..is breath taking and absolutely beautiful! WAY beyond our expectations. We couldn't be more happy and and in awe with everything Ken did! We are already planning our next project and we will only call Ken from here on out. If he is booked up,..we will wait. Because we know the level of service KTM provides. Thank you again Ken!
Great company, i would work them again. Great about tidying up throughout the construction. Ken is nice, good customer service. 
