"Sorry you feel that way Scott. You contacted us in October from a google search, we stopped over and gave you our honest opinion about your patio cover situation. You then requested a lead from Home Advisor which came to us, so we met with you again to try and work something out. We didn't hear back from you until Spring when you went through Home Advisor again, so I set up another meeting with you. We went over multiple options, and emphasized our product was not the correct fit for your application, but you just wanted something inexpensive and waterproof. We said we would only do it one certain way, even though it might look out of place, and you agreed. This was now busy spring time, and we said we would honor our special winter rate we offered back in the fall, but it would be a couple months until we could schedule it in. You started asking when we would be there to install less than 3 weeks after we made our agreement. Then we when were about to order your materials, you wanted us to install our product the way we told you wouldn't work. That's when I offered you a refund, and you had your deposit check a week later. We only cut checks once a week, and as soon as I printed it out, I called you and offered to bring it to you since I didn't have a stamp at that time. You said you would stop by the office the next day. No harsh words were said, the check was waiting for you, and there were no demands. I even gave you a number of a good general contractor, so she could walk you through what you really wanted done. You then blew her off because it was too expensive. We work 10 hour days, and don't stop until all our customers are happy with the finished product. We get hugs, and often share a drink with customers after we finish. Sorry we couldn't get to that point with you, but maybe you should of listened to professionals in the begining."
