Please read this before hiring a roof contractor! When a piece of tile fell off of my roof, I thought "OH, NO, $$$$." I then called four roof contractors. One contractor said it would cost me $325 just for him to show up. Another one showed up, walked my roof, and then gave me a long list of things he said MUST to be fixed - all I saw was dollar signs! And the fourth one didn't even answer my phone call. However, Doug, the owner of Kaeding Roofing, showed up, introduced himself, and then inspected my roof. He could easily have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge about a roof, but he gave me an HONEST assessment and right then fixed the only two or three small items that he said had to be done; the charge was MINIMAL! He then came back a couple days later and glued a few other tiles that he noticed were cracked when he was here before. He finished by giving me a huge warm fuzzy comment when he said my roof was really in good shape! The Bottom Line: I now have Doug scheduled for an annual roof inspection because I TRUST HIM. He is a decent, honest, casual, and non-pressure type business man who cares about YOU! It's next to impossible to find a business person like him anymore. I literally feel like I won the lottery when he showed up at my house!! I wish I could find a clone of Doug in every trade for all of the maintenance issues on my home. He scores a 20 in a 10 point scale as far as I am concerned. Give Doug a call for your roofing concerns.If you do, I know you will be as glad as I am:):):):)

Doug replaced our shake roof with metal tile in the fall(2017). It was a pleasure to have him work on the house. He is courteous, professional and efficient. He kept us well informed of progress and issues and went out of his way to ensure he was coordinated with other contractors performing additional repairs. The work was done when scheduled, was completed on time, pricing was very competitive. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a roofer to do a similar install. The roof looks great!

This guy was a breath of fresh air. I was very unhappy with the quality of people that responded to my request through another source. He was the second roofer to come to the house from via Home Advisors and the first to actually get on the roof. He repaired the roof on his initial visit and I am thrilled. I will use Kaeding again as the need arises. I have complete confidence in his abilities and honesty.

Doug answered my request within 30 minutes on a Sunday and came to my house to do a estimate 20 minutes after talking to him. He did temporary repairs free, without knowing if he was hired! Great guy, outstanding repair!

We sent Doug a text 1:30 in the morning, he got back to us at 7:00. Am. And apoligized for not having his phone next to him in bed so he could of responded sooner. He fixed the leak in our roof immediately at a very reasonable price. Would recommend him to our family and friends.
