Hire this man. Everything good you have read about him is true . . . on time, exceptional work, positive experience. What I'd like to add is that when I originally called him, I could hear the smile in his voice. He loves what he does and it shows.

Jim was on time, did this small project (install a new doorknob) in under 1/2 hour. I have him on my list for any new projects I might have.

He responded immediately and came when he told us he would. The problem was resolved in less than 15 minutes.

Jim responded by quickly to my request to fix several minor electrical issues in my house. The dimmer was broken in a switch, the wires in the pendant light in my kitchen were exposed and hanging down lower than should have been, and the pull chain in a delinking fan was not working. I got a quote for the services, and it ended up costing what was quoted. Jim responded quickly via text and he and his brother were very professional to work with. They were also nice and engaging to my kids. I would hire them again.

We were more than satisfied with every aspect of the work Jim has done for us. From the quote, through project completion, Jim was everything you could ask for in a contractor. Knowledgeable, very competent and respectful of our space. He even gave me advice and tips on what I could and should not try to do my self. Days after the project was done, my 4 year old son was "pretending to be Mr Koehn doing work in the kitchen". Obviously, he made a good impression there as well. If there were more stars, I would give them. I will be calling Jim again.

Jim came to install an exhaust system in our bathroom which required drilling through several feet of old hard brick. After meeting Jim we also hired him to install some new louvered doors and square some crooked doors. He responded quickly to email, texts and phone calls. His finished work looks sharp and professional.

Jim did a project in his shop for us previously, and he was not satisfied with it himself, and he re did the work without any additional charges.
