I see 'trust' and 'trustworthiness' mentioned in other reviews - I now know what they mean. The service was incredibly prompt. Their knowledge of their work and products was top-rate, and they took the time to explain every part involved and every step of the repair process. If you find yourself in need of garage door repair or replacement, and you go somewhere else, I fear that you have made what could be a serious mistake. For on top of their fantastic service and quality work, it was all done at a very reasonable price. They have my highest recommendation!

I quoted 6 different companies looking for a reliable and honest company. I hired Kate's Garage Doors for one reason: Kate proved I could trust them. It is ran by Kate and her husband, honest people, they charge what is appropriate and do not try to up-sell. They are very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I'm Mechanical Engineer so I asked technical questions and they answered all of them. They also use good quality parts, they replaced my torsion springs and the springs they installed are good quality springs made in the USA. Same afternoon I called they came to my house to quote and by the next day I was a very happy customer with my garage door fixed. I highly recommend them.

Awesome! I attempted to install a garage door I purchased and quickly learned cables and springs need to be put on by professionals. Kate called shortly after receiving my information. She and her husband were able to come the same day. They were personable, knowledgeable and quick, as well as affordable. Kate gave us a solid estimate. She took time to measure and talk to us to hear what we really needed. Her quote was the cheapest, although not my much. However, she is a local owner-operator and I appreciated the fact that she didn't try to up-sell me on every aspect of the job. She worked with us when our install date had to change. She came when she said and did what she said. And, when she and her husband were on the job, they were polite and personable. Altogether a good experience.

I was offered an appointment within a few days of my inquiry. They brought all the possible parts for whatever the repair job entailed. I had an old opener repaired (the garage spring needed replacing, not the opener) and had a new one installed on the other door. The work was done in one afternoon. Everything was neat and clean when they left. I would definately call them for any other job in the garage area. They definately knew what they were doing!

Very responsive... called me back within a few minutes of my online inquiry at 8pm Friday night. New spring and cables installed right on time on Sunday afternoon which worked great with my schedule! Will have them back to replace my 20yr garage door opener as the price seemed good (I asked as there was no "upsale" push!). Thanks!

Received an estimate range over the phone and arranged an appointment for the next day. They showed up exactly on time and completed the work with the final repair cost being towards the lower end of the estimate. Will definitely call them the next time I need garage door service.

I REQUESTED THREE QUOTES AND THIS BUSINESS ONLY CHARGED $300.00 WHICH INCLUDED 2 GARAGE DOOR TORSION SPRING REPLACEMENT AND A SET OF 10 HEAVY DUTY GARAGE DOOR ROLLERS. HIGHEST QUOTE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY WAS FOR $640.00. NOW FIGURE THAT ONE OUT. TO BOTH...THANKS A LOT. THIS SERVICE WAS PERFORMED AND COMPLETED JANUARY 16, 2015 AT 6:00 PM.

Emailed Kate the afternoon of Dec 23. Response back in less than 30 minutes. They were out the next morning (Christmas Eve) to install a replacement for the broken spring. Used them 2.5 years ago for my other garage door. Highly recommend for fast, efficient, quality service.
