Plumber was extremely knowledgeable, and explained everything that he was doing. He also took the time to explain future repairs needed and what the charge would be when I was ready.

Henry did a great job repairing an in-floor leak and installing a bath faucet. When other plumbers were telling me it would be three weeks before they could come out, he was available in just a few days. Professional and courteous.

Henry responded to my quote request promptly. I texted him a photo of the gas line that I wanted tied/off removed and he gave me a very reasonable ball park estimate and was even able to come do the work the very same day. I especially appreciated that he made sure to confirm that both my water heater and furnace reignited after he turned the main line back on.

I was searching for a sewer line cleaning from the house to the main line. My regular plumber had retired and their replacement did not return my call so I searched for another company looking for an small neighborhood service. I found Kavana's, a local provider and Henry agreed to do the job two days later. This was good since other places would put it off for 1-2 weeks. Since he had to fit the job in between other work and things happen in the plumbing business and, He was the only one, he ended up coming at about 5:45pm on a Friday. It was great that he would fit the job in even if it was late and not an emergency, so I was happy he came. The work was done properly and Henry was friendly. I will seek him out next time I need plumbing or an evaluation on a plumbing issue. I gave 4 and 1/2 stars overall because 5 is perfect and no-one is perfect.

Thorough and friendly and explained what he was doing and why it was needed; I called on a Saturday night (sewer water backing up into first floor toilet and going all over the floor) and he was at our house quickly and stayed late and came back the next day to finish the job (sewer needed rodding badly). Will certainly call again!

I wrote a review for Kavanas Plumbing and Heating about a month ago. During the severe cold, my pipes burst and I needed an emergency 24 hour repair service. I surfed the internet and found several 24 hour service providers, but they had restricted hours listed despite the fact they advertised as 24 hour service. I came across Kavanas Heating and Plumbing as a 24 hour provider and spoke to Henry who immediately came out and repaired the damage to our pipe and restored our water. We have an old Victorian built in 1894 and the plumbing system is delicate. Henry had the knowledge and resources to correct the situation without causing us to go into extreme debt in order to correct the problem. Sympathetic to our budget, he also recognized a few other issues in the piping system. If left, they could potentially cause more severe problems in the future. In our neighborhood, our house has stood as a historic landmark for the community. We are known as the Pink and White House of the West side of Chicago. My dad was dedicated to preserving the integrity of the home and the frequent repairs needed when preserving an older home. Since his death, the house is in need of many repairs to our great concern. Mindful of this, Kavanas Plumbing and Heating was willing to donate their time and service to repair and fix some of the other plumbing issues that were detected in the home. This is definitely a company that honors their ability to give back to the community through social responsibility; dedicating a portion of time and expertise to help build up the initiative that businesses can give back to the community that supports them. Kavanas Heating and Plumbing is dependable, professional, and qualified to handle your plumbing and heating needs. I especially appreciate the fact that they support the incentive to give back to the community. I highly recommend them for your plumbing and heating needs.

I called Kavanas Plumbing around 11:30 p.m. I had an emergency when my pipes burst suddenly due to the extreme weather and I had no water in the house. I called several other plumbers looking for help, but all were booked or either closed due to the late hour. Thankfully, I came across Kavanas Plumbing and Heating, which were highly rated and spoke to Henry. He was courteous and professional and came right out to our home. He assessed the situation and immediately went to work after we agreed upon pricing. He was very thorough. He fixed the busted pipe and also took the time to correct a few other leaks that resulted in the pipes starting to thaw out. I would highly recommend this plumbing service. I am so thankful I was able to find a plumber who was willing to come right out and Henry did an excellent job. I highly recommend this company--so happy to have running water again!

Henry is extremely thorough and will not quit until the work is done. He came out on a Saturday to fix 4 gas leaks and did not leave until 10:30pm.

Henry came under emergency conditions to repair gas line leaks flagged by Nicor and worked until 1:00 AM to fix the problem for us. Charming, knowledgeable and thorough, I certainly would recommend him.
