Paid them $2948.40 for work never started 9/9/22. work never done was to return money, as of 4/5/23 refused to return contact nor return payment. As a 70 year old senior believe been taken advantage of a scam.

A nightmare! He took the money and ran. Left us high and dry with an unfinished project We foolishly paid the last payment because we wanted the job to get done and it had progressed well (until this point. ) He left us owing on things we already paid him for and a long list of things to bring our project to completion. . We lost a huge amount of money using this company. Keep your money and run the opposite direction! I hope he does not get anyone else in this position. I will leave this review wherever I can to warn people.

They were very knowledge and conscientious about their work. Made sure I was satisfied with the work they performed.

We had, and still are having, a terrible experience with Clary Remodeling. Kennyâ  s bathroom guy, Tom, is a nice enough guy but had more delays and excuses than hours worked. When they first finished we immediately found issues with the shower floor that required more tile and rework. The team did return but after hours trying to rush through the job. When asked to reimburse for the extra â  reworkâ  tile they insisted they had to take all leftovers and would mail a check. Weeks later we have no check and now Kenny is dodging our calls. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else, these guys are too much drama and not enough good work.

Kenny Clary subcontracted the majority of the work done on our basement. That is typically fine but he hired guys he did not know (some guys didnt even know his name while working on the house) and the work was done poorly. This caused MANY issues and work that needed to be redone. He "fired" multiple crews during the course of the project. He had very little oversight on the progress of the project and was completely MIA during the last 3 weeks of the project (due to injuries). The entirety of the project took roughly 3 months when 6-8 weeks was promised. Kenny was very apologetic regarding the delays but I feel like he just has a lot of practice apologizing as I am guessing he has to do it a lot. During our project, one of the crews that Kenny hired had a dispute regarding pay and there was an active lawsuit filed against Clary Remodeling. I received a few calls from the Clary office asking if I would ensure that I would not allow the old crew back on the property. Just another headache that I had to deal with. Overall, the work was decent. I paid extra for a sound proofed office in the basement (definitely not sound proofed). I had to check multiple times that the light switches were put in correctly (one still isnt). There was a leak in the shower (easy fix). A light fixture was hanging from the ceiling. They left the trim on the outside window that they had to take off unpainted (I will just do that myself), and there are gaps between the trim and the floor (they said adding quarter round wasnt a part of the contract) It's definitely livable but due to the quality of the work, the headache caused from policing the project, and the fact that our project was far from a priority for them, I would NOT recommend this thrown together operation. Pay the extra money and hire someone who is more actively involved in the project and not just collecting a paycheck through other people's work. Only positive was working with Tom. He was knowledgeable, communicated well, and was the one cleaning up everyone's sloppy work. Dude works his butt off and I am sure doesnt get enough credit. Would be much more comfortable working directly through him if possible.
