Unfortunately they didn?t finish the job and ultimately had to terminate halfway through. There were a lot of delays (some by weather) but they were never ready to pick up the job on the next nice day. I got lots of runaround like they needed to go find sand, they needed to rent equipment, they needed scaffolding, but never actually planned any of that before the day of. It was supposed to be a 3 day job and after 5 weeks, had to call it quits.

"We were delayed with all the rained this spring. When we were able to we were there. We were there approximately five days. We completed the first phase of the project. I tried to help this customer out and I removed a small chimney stack for free. I went above and beyond because there was extra work than first anticipated. I decided not to move forwardwith the second half of the project."

Do not even bother to call them. First time here they had no ladder. Really? A chimney cleaning Company? Next appointment was a no show, would not even answer our calls or return our messages. 3 weeks of wasting my time for a company that claims good service. Do not waste your time on Kelly Home Service. I had to leave a 0.5 rating because my experience could not be submitted without a rating.

Our services are in high demand and we are always hiring new people to our team often.. I believe this job needed a 40ft ladder which is not on all our trucks. We tried to reschedule but this was during COVID and things were hectic at the time. We have a few new awesome people on our team now making sure every customer is satisfied with our services."

I summoned Doug Kelly and Crew to clean and inspect my wood stove insert and chimney through HomeAdvisor 10/8/â 20. Doug called that morning and made an appointment for the following day. They arrived promptly and worked efficiently and thoroughly completing the job in good order. Next day I went to start a fire in the stove early in the morning. I noticed something amiss in the firebox and called Doug. He arrived again promptly and corrected the problem. I fired up the stove and found it to draw perfectly through the newly cleaned flu and chimney. I recommend Kelly Home Services of Doylestown most highly for this and similar service. They said they would inspect the chimney from top to bottom and bottom to top. Only checked the chimney from the bottom. Said they could see up to the sky but we have a cap on. Asked if they were going to inspect the cap and was told he could see it from the ground. Was supposed to send an estimate for outside stucco fixing and never did. Do not feel that they did what they said they were going to do. $159 for 15 minutes of work. Also cancelled the first appointment then did not show up for second saying they had phone issues. Did fine job clean from bottom to top?

"We clean chimneys from the bottom up and top down usually. When chimneys are very tall and hard to access we clean from the bottom up. We have been cleaning chimneys for 15 years and eventually bought specific expensive equipment to clean from the bottom up. We typically will clean a chimney and do an inspection for $160-$180. Some chimneys are dangerous to access because of their height and roof pitch. This particular chimney was 30ft with a steep roof pitch. I used the camera after we cleaned and could see straight up the chimney. It was cleaned properly and could see the cap was on good. The job was done perfectly. I did not submit a quote to Denise because."
