WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USE THIS PERSON / COMPANY. We used Kem for a few other projects and he seemed professional enough / polite enough (though he never showed up on time or finished projects when he said he would). We were looking to have sliding barn doors built / installed and he said hed done many. He said it would take him 3-4 days to build and paint and 3-4 hours for him to install. He asked for $693 up front for materials. After several days had gone by we starting asking for pictures. We did not receive any. We doubled checked the day he was supposed to start, he said their was a snag with the hardware. He had to order and wait for it to come in (odd since I could order for next day delivery on Amazon). We kept asking for pictures. Still NONE. Another week went by. His next excuse was bronchitis. When we called him very upset, he sent pictures later that night of almost assembled doors but not painted. He said it would take several days longer. He could not paint if it was raining. Many more days went by and he brought doors to install. The doors were ruined taking them out of his truck into my garage because they were wet / freshly painted. We were upset as we had been assured they were finished/dry days earlier. He said he was going to hang the rail that day and would have to come back to hand paint the doors after sanding and hanging on the rail. The next day (following sanding) he went to hang the doors to realized the doors were the wrong size (32 in width instead of 38 in width) AND the header board / rail was attached to the wall too high, leaving the doors 3-4 inches above the floor. He assured me fixing the header rail would be an easy fix when he came back with corrected doors. He kept saying he could fix this. I told him to come back the next Friday (another week) with doors fixed to the correct measurements, painted and completely dry (he had gotten paint on the rug and steps in our garage and on our driveway). Over the next week, we had to push for an update pic of repair. We asked over and over for him to confirm the new measurement. He finally sent a pic and update the night before he was supposed to come hang the door.... the doors were now 39 x 86... STILL not the width / height. He refuses to return calls, texts, or email... HE TOOK $693, I HAVE NO DOORS so I am forced to purchase again, along with header & rail that I will have to pay another person to move and repair to hang a standard barn doors on, KEM BARRON needs to make this right or return my money.

I had a really great experience with this company he does great work it's just a really great company I will recommend them to friends and family

Kem construction replaced all my trim and did an excellent job. I will definitely be hiring them again !! My house looks awesome with the new trim!!

Poor quality, did not finish the job, we paid half down on another job that he never started, he took our money and he is unresponsive to our attempts to communicate with him.

Kem worked around my busy schedule, was very friendly and did quality work. Asked questions when he needed to and worked quickly, even cleaned up afterward.

Friendly affordable and on time

Kem was very nice and easy to work with. However, we did have to call him back to redo several areas of the floor, and when things were all said and done we had to hire a different company to come in and polish the floors entirely, which looked a lot better and costed us less. Furthermore, I had to ask Kem several times to respond back with the products he used on the specific spots he serviced, so that we could use the same products throughout the floors and getting him to respond required me to call on several occasions and from different numbers. Having to hunt him down for correspondence makes my job a lot harder.

Did a Great Job

although i had to contact Kems Construction (instead of them contacting me via email or phone), Kem showed up on time and completed the project i requested in addition to doing some other 'minor' repairs to my shower stall and door! Very personable and friendly and would recommend him! Pleasure to work with him!
