Reviews
Write a ReviewI regret hiring Mr. Einhorn. The inspection occurred on 3/3/24, but we moved in June 1. Issues arose immediately after occupancy: Roof: Bedroom ceiling damage from a poorly patched roof--missed during inspection. Comprehensive exam could have detected this, allowing negotiation with the seller. Half the roof needed replacement. HVAC: a) AC non-functional due to unwired connections. Operational tests would have revealed this. b) Gas leak from substandard boiler piping - a serious safety hazard missed during inspection. Mr. Einhorn dismissed our concerns, citing the time between inspection and move-in. We contest this- the house was unoccupied and issues emerged immediately upon use. These oversights cost us almost $9k in unexpected repairs. Subsequent repair professionals agreed these were obvious problems that should have been identified. While the financial costs are substantial, the most alarming aspect is the potentially life-threatening situation caused by substandard service.
Ken is super knowledgable and kind! I would recommend this company to anyone.
Very professional, informative, and honest.
Ken is very polite and easy to work with. His rates are very reasonable and work quality is excellent. Ken is very detail oriented and I was impressed with the detailed report with pictures and videos. He spent lot of time to explain all the details and answered all my questions after the inspection. I highly recommend Ken Inspect LLC
Great, Professional, and friendly service
I am very disappointed with Ken service, especially for Radon Test. I had his service in March 2024. Not recommended at all. He told me he is using a new tech radon detector which cost him $6800, and it could finish detection in 2 hours. However, in New Jersey the government recommended a 48h test with a test kit, which later should be sent to lab. He bought this detector only to save his another trip to collect the test kit and the cost for lab test. My realtor and attorney both questioned about his radon test report, cause it only ran for 2 hours and the radon value increased from 0.1 to 0.4 in the last hour. They have never seen a radon test using a real-time detector. As it could not prove that radon gas won't accumulate to 2 or 4 pCi/L in 2 days. When I searched his detector I found out it's just a real-time detector and it's only $170 called Radon Eye on Amazon. If he leaves the detector in house for 2 days it may show the full chart. But within 2 hours, not too much it could d
This review is unjust and misrepresents the service I provided. I take great pride in my reviews; and, if you read this review, you?ll see it?s an outlier as I typically get five stars. I even received a ?Super Service Award? from Angi in 2023. I would like to set the record straight. First, I provided a thorough, complete and detailed home inspection that lasted 4 hours, and I provided an additional service (tank sweep) for no additional charge (a $200 value). After the report was received by the customer, I had several lengthy phone conversations to explain and interpret the report; I even added additional things into the report at the customer?s request.. The issue at hand is over radon. I use a continuous monitoring system which is erroneously described in this review. There is a residential version of the monitor that can be purchased for $175; however, I have the Radon Eye Pro (professional equipment) that provides an accurate testing report. The radon levels came in well below the actionable level, and the dwelling has a radon mitigation system already installed. Despite that, the customer requested an additional radon test days after the inspection as suggested by his realtor and attorney. I said I would do the additional test and was only going to charge the lab fee and my mileage. The customer then threatened to write a poor review of my services unless I provided him with the free additional test. I am a professional and take pride in my work. I gave this customer a lot of my time; my time is valuable, and it is unreasonable to demand an additional superfluous free service.
Ken provides an excellent service
I retained Ken from Angi to examine a contractor's shoddy work in my master bathroom. His fee was reasonable and he arrived at my home as planned. Ken was very knowledgable regarding construction practices. He thoroughly examined my bathroom and prepared a detailed report to furnish evidence to other parties.
Very personable. Very professional.
Clear communicator, prompt replies, and thorough and quality work!
