Ken Izzett Construction

We hired Mr. Izzett to replace our deck . The quality of work is bad. When the Izzett crew said they were done there was gouges in some of the wood used, the balusters were crooked. In one section of the railing the crew used two boards instead of one. It looked awful. We would not pay them until they fixed these issues, they did . We paid them and then found out the decking screws used are too short and stripped . My husband has to refasten them all. The bottom of the stair width is almost a full inch length off from the top of the stairs. You cannot notice it with out a practiced eye. I would not hire this company for anything other work. We had thousands of dollars of more work to be done and we went with another contractor. There is no good quality with this company would never hire them again.

He and his employees fixed our leaking ceiling after it had been repaired and during a recent snow storm I called to see if he could plow us out and he did as soon as he could.. he was at our home within 30 minutes. We will always use ken in the future and we have already passed along his contact information to multiple family and friends. Way to go Ken!!! I am so glad we were referred red to you!

Work quality was horrible. What started out as a 5-week project after 16 weeks and $54,000.00 ceilings are cracked (charged additional $ 3000.00 and said we would love it). Mud he used on ceilings is falling down. Had new doors installed, the frames have about 1/2 inch gap between the frame and the floor and the doors right across from each other are not level out and will no stay closed. They installed new windows on the porch and do not even with each other. New bathroom and bedroom walls are cracking. The new molding is separating from the ceiling. New siding installed with no end caps installed. Broken lamps and shades. Workmanship throughout at best you could call hack-job. He said he would have a crew of 4 or 5 for the job but most of the time 2 men and a 14-year-old who spent most of the day texting! They left the house filthy. They were supposed to come back and do a final but did not. I messed up and paid the final payment and never to see him again!
