Kenny Hardwood Flooring

We used Kenny Hardwood Flooring to refinish (sanding old wood floors and three coats of water based semi finish) four rooms (3 pine floors and 1 hardwood oak). After receiving a very reasonable estimate, Kenny gave us a lead time of three weeks to schedule the job. Within less than that three weeks, Kenny was able to schedule the job and said it would take only one day. He did give us five days notice in advance prior to booking the work date, which gave us plenty of time to clear out the rooms and clean. As promised, on the day of the scheduled work, Kenny and his team showed up promptly on time (8:00 am) and began work instantly. The equipment he used was amazing, there was so little dust which made it so convenient as a homeowner after the job was complete (one day). The attention to detail given to our 1860s wood floors was phenomenal. Kenny and his exceptional crew were able to sand the floors to a smooth finish and add three coats of a semi finish (water based) so we were able to walk on the floors (only in socks) that night. We would hire Kenny and his team again and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs wood floors refinished.

Kenny contacted me immediately after my original post. He was out the next day for an estimate and we agreed upon a contracted time for the work to be done then and there. He was punctual and professional and answered every question I had by phone or text. They installed new wood and refinished the old wood to match and it is impossible to tell the difference! He did an amazing job with the transitions even under an island that other contractors said would not be possible. Finally, he came back out after the job was done to touch up when a family member walked on the floor before it was dry and did not charge us for it. Recommend him very highly. Thank you Kenny!

My hardwood floors were a mess.Staples all over it due to carpeting.He said not to worry he would take care of it.I met him on a monday he started work 8am Tuesday morning.Himself and his crew were most professional and you could tell they take pride in their work. Good work very fast but they did make a mess. Lots of dust everywhere, doors to bathrooms left open and we're covered in dust and poly had dripped through into basement. With hindsight I'd have asked them to keep them closed but I was expecting they would be cleaner.

They were very responsive, came out to do a free estimate, tailored to the work to our specific needs and started a couple of days after the quote.

I hired Kenny to install some new flooring, and refinish all the floors in our house before we moved in. Kenny and his crew were meticulous in their work. All the floors match and look fantastic. All I can say is WOW!!! This crew is amazing!!! I met with Kenny on a Sunday (who in this day works on Sunday?) Well Kenny and his crew do!! My home is an 3700 sf home in Cohasset and about 50% of it is hardwood floors that are 18 years old. There were a few deep gouges and the floor was showing it's age. Kenny and I reviewed all the floors and he was very informative and friendly explaining to me exactly how they would refinish the floor by sanding down to bare wood and then refinishing with a natural satin stain. Best of all he would begin work 3 days later. His crew arrived early Wednesday morning with the latest state of the art sanders with vacuums that minimize dust that typically occurs during sanding. The 4 man crew worked through a good portion of the day and were very organized in their approach to sanding tight spaces while others worked in the larger areas. They finished sanding and applying the first coat in one day!!!! The next day they did a fine sanding and then finished with the final coat. They were amazing. All I can say is the floors look better than when they were first installed back in 2000. The grain of the wood pops out and the floors are as smooth as a basketball court with a nice satin finish. I am so very happy I found Kenny and his crew. I assure you that you will be very happy with this hard working and dedicated group of people who work together like champions!!! Kenny was very responsive both by phone and text. He gave an estimate within two days of calling. His prices are fair. I had both installation and refinishing. He had the flooring delivered as promised, begaan the job as scheduled and finished in 3 days. When I walked into the house all I could say was “WOW”. I couldn’t believe how brand new the old floors looked and I couldn’t tell where the old floors ended and the new floors began. I highly recommend Kenny...you will be so happy with his work.
