Popcorn Acoustic Ceiling Texture Application, Repair or Removal
Ron is great! I saw him work at my job once he drywall patched the ceiling real good, & he priced reasonable. I hired him to patch drywall at my home 3 different times and every time he showed up, gave a fair price, and did great work. I hire him b/c he knows what he is doing. Ron has experience. He’s reliable and friendly. Hire this guy right now, you’ll be glad you did!

I am VERY pleased with the service provide by Ron Caya and Kern Drywall. I called Ron on a Saturday morning. He immediately answered my call and was en route to my home to give me an estimate within the hour. He gave me a quick, fair estimate and was working within minutes. Ron was friendly, professional and efficient. His work was fantastic! He completed the job within 3-4 hours and cleaned up afterward. We will definitely use Ron and Kern Drywall for all of our future drywall needs. Thanks Ron!

Mr. Caya came to my home for an estimate and scheduled a date/time to finish my remodel. He did not arrive at the scheduled time and did not contact me until after I left several messages. Mr. Caya stated that he had "other clientele who provide him with 20-30K a year" and would call me that afternoon to reschedule. It's been two days and I still have not heard from him. I know my project is not a large or a 20-30K job, but Mr. Caya was aware of this from the beginning and still accepted the job. This is poor customer service and hopefully no one experiences the same issues I have had.
Response from Kern Drywall
"Finish her remodel. What remodel ? She wanted me to add a little texture ( a couple of square feet ) around a ceiling light that her husband did that didn't match .I could have done it in 5 minutes but she wouldn't let me do it it then without talking to her husband.i had several legit jobs going on at the time and that trip across town just cost an hour of my time . She is still very important to me regardless of the smallness of her (project) so I told I would come back when she got her husbands approval and I was on her side of town , I did , She seemed happy then wrote a bad review . She is delusional if she says I didn't call."

Kern Drywall did a great job removing the popcorn celling. Our family enjoyed there humor and great work ethic. My sons still talk about "Mud Boy" and "Captain Drywall". They were very affordable, prompt, and efficient. They will be our first call when we decide to remodel our kitchen.

Awesome and truly professional! Punctual, honest, quick, great job cleaning up after the messy task of removing the popcorn texture from my ceilings. The new ceilings are perfect. I have told all my neighbors and friends about this company, and I would use them again.

Immediate service. An estimate was given the same day I called and work was performed and completed the next day. Only complaint; a bit pricey.

Ron Caya with Kern Steel is one of the best sheetrockers around. He is the most courteous person you'll ever meet. I would recomment Kern Steel to anyone that might just need some patches or an entire job. All was well done. Thank you Kern Steel.
