Kevin Wing

I hired Kevin on a $15,000 dollar home remodeling project and HE WALKED-OFF the job (leaving me in the hole $4,000. I had some other contractors come over and try to finish his work and they wanted more than $4,000. SO I insanely hired Kevin Wing again and paid him another $4,000 (equaling $19,000 total) to finish the job he said 3 months earlier, he was going to do. He would come and work for maybe 2 hours and then leave for a few days. It took him MONTHS to finish a job, that a Pro Company would have done in 30 days. He is just one guy and has no help. Its too much work for him to do by himself. DON'T HIRE HIM!!!!

I am pretty particular when it comes to painting and so is Kevin. We had him paint a 20' high cathedral ceiling and the walls in our great room. He did an excellent job, with much care and respect for our house. i would not hesitate to use him on future contracting projects.

Our project is ongoing, but so far Kevin has been on-site and hands on, very much on top of things. We are very pleased with his work and with him.

I am so far very pleased with my experience working with contractor Kevin Wing. He seems very knowledgeable of general repair and remodeling. He also appears to be a very consciencous person

Kevin mis-estimated the amount of tile we would need, and we had to delay work while I ordered more tile. His work was adequate but his work habits were unreliable -- sometimes late, sometimes a no-show, and I had to remind him to do some of the finish work. He did, however, help us out with an additional piece of the remodel by getting oak woodwork at a good rate, installing it, and making a fireplace surround and mantle for us.

Wow! Kevin is fabulous! Hard working, precise, friendly, very reasonably priced a true craftsman! He not only painted the interior of our house, but he also patched our walls, and made it look new, which was no small task considering it was a foreclosure in rather ill repair. We are so glad we found Kevin, and would highly recommend him over any one else.

Kevin's work was top notch. We had to install a dry wall around our furnace and sump pump and he came and finished the work in 5 hours and did a wonderful job of that. He is willing to listen and provide recommendations. He was right on time and completed the work on time. I would recommend Kevin without any hesitation.

Nice person, but incompetent: - gave unrealistic timeline and took more than double the time quoted for a small bath - all tile is NOT level and grout has already started to come out on both floor and shower walls - all drywall installed and mudded has bubbles, lumps, etc - made shower fixture inoperable and lost our hardware (had to hire someone to fix it and pay for new hardware) - scratched existing marble - chipped our cast iron tub, left cut marks in our ceiling , broke through halway- said would fix all and didn't - trim bows out and has gaps between tile b/c of aforementioned unlevel tile knew messed up - didn't collect balance

Kevin did the ceramic tile in our bathroom and we were very pleased with his work. He did the job in two days and on a weekend no less.

Kevin was very accommodating to the needs of our special project. He installed all trim and engineered hardwood floors in our basement. The quality of work exceeded my expectations. Sometimes contractors speed through their work just to get on to the next job. Kevin takes his time to get the job done correctly while maintaining overall quality. He even goes the extra mile to insure the little details are not overlooked. It may take a little longer, but if you have the patience, you will get a better finished product in the end. Kevin is a very nice honest guy to work with. We will undoubtedly welcome him back to assist on our next projects.

Kevin is a caring and decent worker, and does a good job when he's on the job site. However, he isn't reliable, timely or dependable when he says he will get something done. Kevin indicated that the bathroom remodeling he did for us would take "no more than a week, or so". It took him over two months to complete the work, and there is still on last thing to be completed.

Kein is in the process of doing our flooring - very good to work with.

Kevin did a great job. He did everything we asked him to do and more. We even had a light fixture in the hall that didn't work and because he needed the light, he fixed it. You have a great service. We used Mservicemagic to find someone to fix our garage door. Withing five minutes of going on the internet someone called and we were able to have the door fixed within the hour. If I need any things done in the future MSERVICEMAGIC would be be I would go. Thank you Merle & Paul Graff

Kevin did a great job on our bathroom - new ceramic floor tile & new ceramic wall tile, including a beautiful border on the wall. He also installed a new toilet & pedastel sink for us. We were very satisfied & would definitely recommend him to others.

Very positive experience.

While Kevin is a pleasant individual to work with in that he is very personable and does return phone calls in a timely manner, we did not have a good experience with his workmanship. We had Kevin install pre-stained hardwood floors in the whole first level of our house, but he did not cut the wood flush with the wall. All around he left an average 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap between the floor and the wall. This was then covered up in the main areas with the quarter round moldings, but in the closets the gaps are very visible because Kevin did not put molding in there. Throughout the house there are also large gaps between the slats of wood.

Has great ideas to make the job more efficient and less costly.

It was great. I had put off hiring anyone as our experience with contractors in the past was always so drawn out... much longer than was planned. Kevin came in and finished the work in the exact time frame he said he would and did excellent work. He is highly recommended from us.
