Kiewit Construction, LLC

We hired Michael to fell and remove a number of dead and dying trees on our property after a large storm blew through our area. He came across as professional and reasonably priced. Initially as was going well. The tree that was a hazard to our house was taken down right away, then over the course of next month - and after a multitude of excesses - he returned to cut down most of the other trees. After a few more weeks passed and he still had not returned to clear the debris (which was had already paid him for) and had stopped returning our calls and texts, we had to pay someone else to clean the mess. Do not hire this guy! He will do have to job, then take your money and run.

I was wary at first because there was only 1 review and the company was new to this area. After talking with him, seeing pictures of work that was done, we decided to hire him to build an attached garage. After that, it has been one thing after another. Work was supposed to start on 8/1. One person came out on 8/2 to make a few cuts in concrete - was here about an hour or so. Had trouble figuring out the concrete saw... After that, there has been no work done. He never created building permits, did not call the utilities to locate, and had one excuse after another. Our contract was supposed to have a major amount of work done by 10/1. I canceled on 9/30 when I found out that the utility locate was only called in that morning after he told me he had been talking to them for weeks. He also said materials were scheduled for delivery - they never showed and it appears were never ordered. Do NOT hire this person.

Started the job and stopped showing up. I will write more once the court settles my suit. In the meantime, do not hire this company. You will lose your money.
