Seamus and his team were consummate professionals who make sure that things are done the right way. We needed their help with restoring and reinforcing the entire side of our three story home and applying stucco, which was a large project. The quality of their work is astounding and we are really happy with how it turned out. Seamus was very responsive and made sure to explain the process before and during construction. He proactively and consistently communicated with us, which was really important. The whole team was a pleasure to work with-- everyone was so friendly and considerate. They worked really diligently to make sure that our home was done before the winter. We'd recommend Seamus to anyone needing masonry, stucco, or siding work.

Project: Repair or Partially Replace Traditional Stucco Sold my townhouse in four days and needed stucco repair on a short timeframe. James Sweeney responded by phone quickly, arrived in short order to review the building and gave me a very fair estimate. Despite two bouts of rainy weather, he and his crew finished the repairs before settlement as promised--even though the job required some tricky removal of diagonal deck boards. Afterward, you would never even know a single board had ever been disturbed. In the office Anna Marie Bonner was so helpful in getting me the detailed estimate required by my buyer and her real estate agent. They make quite a team and I simply can't say enough nice things about them and the excellent work they did. Throughout James kept in close contact with me and had my back in this transaction--and even gracefully navigated an HOA hiccup at the very last minute. I highly recommend them!

We hired Seamus and crew in October 2018 to re-stucco the front wall of our home. We had a positive experience while they were there. However, once the work was done, I asked several times in 2018/2019 via email and voicemail to be sent a final Paid In Full Invoice and once again asked this week. As of Feb 2022, it still has not been provided. I need this information for the sale of my home and have been unable to get a response. The work was great but the follow-up has not been and, for this reason, Ive stopped recommending them.

This review is long overdue. We hired Seamus in 2019 to partner with Anderson Windows on a $150,000 project between the stucco repair and the windows. It was a challenging project as the windows were being completely removed with new sills put in around the windows. Seamus and his team were honest about the product and what it would look like finished and worked well with the Anderson team to ensure that the final look was what I wanted. They were so diligent and the follow up was great. We had a number of delays due to weather and product issues from Anderson, but Seamus was on top of everything. He came back a number of times to make minor repairs to the final look for the windows which was not actually his responsibility. Anderson Windows had to come out and do the final touches. I cannot say enough about the effort and honesty as well as the willingness to work with me to get the look that we wanted. A realtor recently looked at our house and said that the windows are amazing! Seaumus and his team were a big part of that. The Anderson team was good as well but Seamus was my primary contact. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

So glad we found Kildarragh Construction after contacting many masons who never called back, were too busy, or even no-showed while we were trying to get the stucco on our Center City house remediated on a tight schedule. Seamus came out, reviewed the situation, and Anna Marie emailed us a proposal. Seamus picked up the phone when I called, answered all my questions about the proposal, and scheduled work to start the next week! The Kildarragh crew is just awesome. They protected the house and outdoor furniture with plastic, taped to protect the concrete, and worked in very tight quarters admirably. Oh, and in a massive heat wave! They are a hard-working crew that knows what they are doing and they do it with skill and efficiency. The crew has been working together for many years. Watching them clean up, I was impressed with how well orchestrated their operation is. It is a tough job that they do, but it seems like Seamus takes good care of his employees and they make him proud. I am pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone in the Philly area.

Removed and replaced stucco on one side of second floor, replaced cracked stucco where stucco meets brick facing, and replaced stucco on chimney. Seamus was easy to work with. From assessment of the problems to completion and cleanup, he and his crew did a great job. The house is almost 50 years old, and both the color and texture of the new stucco are an excellent match with rest of the house. We are very pleased with the results on all sections of the house!

I found Kildarragh construction through Home Advisor and although it took 3 weeks for them to come to give an estimate after telling me twice they’d be out “this week” I wanted to wait for them as their reviews were so good. Seamus Sweeney came and was very personable and gave an estimate that was a few hundred more than another estimate I had received, but I was so impressed with Seamus, that I used them. I never received a written estimate. They came about 10 days later and the crew did a very good job. However, on the last day, I was not home and Seamus asked my wife to pay the remaining $500 balance by check made out to him personally, which she did. No receipt was ever left. I have called three times, emailed the company three times and even texted Seamus twice over a 6+ week period asking for a signed invoice so I could show Kildarragh did the work. I have never received a reply to the email, text or phone calls. I am now frustrated and more curious that Seamus had the last payment made out to him. All I want is a invoice for the full amount. How complicated is that? Interestingly, their phone number is answered by voice mail that does not mention the name of the company, just the number you have reached. Bizarre customer service.

Seamus was very nice His work is great and the price was amazing I needed my chimney stucco. He did that and the wall and he matched the other wall on the other side of house no extra charge. He was very friendly. Service was quick and clean No mess left behind I highly recommend Jackie Tomon

Seamus gave good advise. Replaced old stucco, repaired where it was needed and replaced porch ceiling when we had only asked for it to be repaired. No additional charges. Great service and fun to work with. It took a little longer than expected, but in the end we are very happy with the excellent work done.

We had our stucco replaced and repaired in some areas on our second floor single house. Working with Seamus was very pleasant. Mr Sweeney is not bashful about telling you what the project needs. He doesn't low-ball you with a cheap fix, then up-sell to the real required job. His men are good, skilled workmen and complete the job quietly and efficiently. Afterwards, they cleaned up and left the area pretty much as it was when they started. I probably could have gotten the job done a little cheaper, but not as well. They did a really nice job.

While the project was relatively small, James responded quickly to the request for a quote. The work was begun in one week and completed according to schedule.

Shamus responded quickly, was friendly, and did a nice job. It ended up being an easy fix that he took care of immediately.

My experience with Seamus and his crew was life changing. Prior to meeting and hiring them, I lost many nights sleep over my unstable exterior wall. It was such a relief to find someone who was qualified to do such a major project yet did not try to exploit or overcharge me for the work. The entire process was professional from the proposal to the clean up.The crew came in performed an outstanding job repairing my severely damaged brick and stucco wall in a matter of weeks- IN JANUARY! (Thank God for a mild winter.) Whenever anyone asks, or if I have future masonry needs, I will call Seamus without hesitation.
