As a master Electrican, My Company is run by experts in our trade and we will do our best to keep you as educated as we can on your particular task or project. We look forward to earning your business! We apologize but we are not a 24 hour service company you must schedule free estimate appointment to be put on the calender, since we get booked pretty quick, and we are not available for weekend hours at this time.

Job was for major re-wiring. BAD experience. They accomplished nothing that was requested, did 'work' that was not requested, and charged over $600. Would not coordinate with the general contractor who prepared for them; refused to come back for 18 days - leaving bare wires exposed on most outlets, walls left open waiting for them to wire, and the general contractor had planned to complete the job in 5 days. I needed to move in quickly. Very unprofessional. Caught them in 5-6 outright lies. They were quick to quit the job - probably way over their abilities.

"I would like to start my reply with the fact that we were the second contractor to bid this job. The first walked away for unknown reasons, that we can only speculate on. Our reason for walking away was breach of contract. We were called in to do the job on a set date. When we arrived, the customer was not ready. We could have had the problems addressed, and been out in a day. However she didn't even know what equipment was being installed, so that we could wire accordingly. She said it would be something off Ebay that's all she knew. This customer needed to plan better and stick to the contract."

The men were courteous and friendly. They assured us if any problems came up we should call and they would be out to take care of them. I have full confidence that they would but as thorough as they were I don't expect any. I would recommend them with no hesitation.

They cancelled repeatedly on the premise that they had emergencies. It took months for them to come. I had them switch out light fixtures and they left a hunk of chair just hanging from the light. They replaced thermostats on room heaters and left one heater non functional. They never put in a motion light at the back of the house because they told me that it was not in the estimate. They forgot. Very frustrating.

Kilowatt was very responsive during the development of our project and very helpful in explaining requirements and restrictions that apply to the requested installations. Their work in and around our home was performed with a high level of consideration for us and our schedule and they left little evidence of being there... other than the obvious installations. We definitely will recommend Kilowatt to our contacts.

They needed $2000 more from me before the job was completed to make their payroll. I had paid out over $7000 on a $10000 job before they were finished. Now we have a few issues and they are very slow to return our phone call.

The only reason we needed to take out for payroll was because the job took longer than expected and because of extra work you wanted done. We also do try to return phone calls as quick as possible, but do to how busy we are with other customers it can be hard and it may be couple days before we get back with you. We had the box installed for in-floor heating that will be completed later. The two men that came out to do the work were great. Because we are having a panel upgraded soon, we found out some very interesting information. If we were not having this work done, we would not have known to check with our electric company about carrying extra load on the transformer that feeds our home. We have found out our transformer that services four homes (ours plus three others) is overloaded. It is definitely in need of upgrading. If the person we have been working with had not asked about our electric company and their requirements on the transformers, we would not have found out we are 80% over the load capacity. Thank you so much for this additional information! When we were the only home on the transformer, all was well. Once three more homes were built and added, we were over. No one ever checked the load limits! I definitely recommend this company for your electrical needs.

They charged us for the hour it took to drive to our place plus the hour of work at our place. They way over charged.

"Most contractors will charge you for the time it takes for the electrician to travel to your home. It is also sometimes referred to as "Trip Charge" . If it is a contract job this will already be figured into the price of the contract. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic. So every electrician has to find a way to pay for expense of driving all over town each day. I hope this clears things up for you."

You need to be there when electrical work is being done or DRAW DIRECTLY ON THE WALL showing them exactly where you want the light switch or they may place it in the easily accessible wall for the worker to reach from under the house which is illogical for those using the switch. My switch is under the light fixture ten feet from any room entrance. Be There during the install!!!!
