I was in shock with how everything turned out as well as the affordable prices they were flexible and nice to work with

I hired Kimmie to fix 4 separate, but connected, cracks / holes in my ceiling and wall. She fixed 2 of them well. She made 2 of them worse. When I asked her to come back and fix her mistakes on the 2 remaining parts, she asked for more compensation (specifically: she wanted a flat rate for travelling to my house for each time she had to come out while fixing the problems; she did not ask for compensation for the actual fix itself). I argued that I should not have to pay for her to fix issues she created by not doing the work correctly, that she can not mess up and then charge me to make it right. Since that argument, she has not offered to fix the issues and she has ghosted me. I will now have to hire someone else to fix the issues she exacerbated. I will update this review if the situation changes. While working, Kimmie was nice and enjoyable to work with. She respectfully wore a mask to protect vulnerable members of my family and wore contractor socks over her shoes to protect our floors. I appreciated these gestures a lot. However, she made no offer to clean up after working. She left large clumps of wet spackle on the floors / surfaces and lots of dust. I asked her to bring drop-cloths to protect my child's play area and toys, which she did use. However, when removing the drop-cloths, she dumped the accumulated dust onto the spot she was supposed to be protecting, making a huge mess (once again, not offering to help with the cleaning).
