Kinesis Construction specializes in custom work. We are based in north Seattle and do new construction and remodeling in the greater Seattle area. Perhaps 75% of our jobs are residential. In addition we have worked on small commercial and industrial structures and retail spaces. Most of our work has been in projects designed by architects, although we pride ourselves in applyling good "design sense" in helping clients make minor repairs and renovations. We specialize in seismic retrofits (earthquake proofing). Other than seismic, most of our jobs are in the $15,000 and up category. In the last year, our crew of 8 workers has undertaken the following jobs: 1. $800,000 remodel of large Capitol Hill Victorian house. (seismic included.) 2. $15,000 in an ongoing repair program on a 1926 masonry church (flashing, venting, and leakage problems plus an interior retrofit: adding a retail space into a meeting room). 3. $22,000 kitchen and bath on north Capitol Hill. 4. $56,000 seismic and basement remodel overlooking Shilshole Bay. 5. $4,000 complex repairs in an ongoing residential remodeling project in Ravenna. 6. $30,000 seismic and basement remodel in Sandpoint. 7. $212,000 addition of a new floor on top of a Fremont house w view of Lake Union. 8. $30,000 seismic and basement remodel in Magnolia. 9. $10,000 cedar deck added to a Leschi house that we built two years ago. Our college educated crew is careful, energetic, and we aim to please.
