I had a project of extensive scope and detail. We need and atrium enclosed with a roof and interior load bering walls removed. Devin and Casein work together fluidly to provide an complete and perfectly finished job I could not be more pleased. I was never out about the risk involved removing load bear wall but they work very knowledge and brought and confident and they certainly delivered. I am very happy with the quality of work and the customer service/communication throughout the entire process. Bottom line I would hire them again.

Interior Trim and Decorative Moldings Installation
I am not one to complain or leave reviews, but as part of the process I will tell you what happened. The job was to install shiplap on our living room wall and entryway ceiling, then paint. This company is young and new and I thought I would take a chance on letting them grow their business. Big mistake. Major complaints - Poor workmanship, damage to floors, terrible paint and finish, lack of communication. Had to hire someone else to fix their problems and still have damage and paint on floors. Below are the details. Workmanship - Terrible. Before we started the project I showed the owner of the company shiplap that we had in other parts of our home and told him we wanted the exact same size and finish for the shiplap in the new areas. He took measurements and recorded all of the information to pass to the carpenter. We paid 50% so they could buy the materials and the carpenter purposefully purchased the incorrect size **because it was all they had at Lowes**. He did not tell us he was installing the incorrect size, it took us asking about it after half of the wall was complete and noticing the difference in size. He had to take it down and they had to go look for the correct size somewhere else. Installation - Terrible. The carpenter did not install the shiplap correctly on the ceiling. Instead of starting in the middle and moving outward from the center, he started on one end and then left a small piece on the other end. After this was completed we had to instruct the carpenter to not do the same thing on the living room wall. I had to physically oversee the project and provide input and direction in order to get the job completed. The carpenter started off the job not speaking to us and left at the end of the day without speaking to us, so problems were not identified until after he left the first day. We started off just giving the carpenter space and being hands off. After the first day, we realized this would not work. There was very little to no communication during the installation. At the end, there were gaps at the shiplap joints and some of the boards were slightly twisted and uneven. Painting - Terrible. To be fair, the paint crew was VERY nice! They were just inexperienced. The main painter had not been actually painting for very long and was an electrician by trade. They attempted to fix the gaps and paint the shiplap, but the gaps were still visible and the wall still had nail holes and other imperfections visible. The painters were using a sprayer and gun that broke part way through the process. We had a fine black dirt all over everything in our house. We had to get furniture covers and try to cover everything. Because the spray gun was broken we had spots all over where it spit paint out on the wall. They used their fingers to put caulk on the nail holes and left the smear marks on the wall before painting so all of the smears were still visible after painting too. We complained to the owner and he sent them back again to try to fix their mistakes. They spent all day working and sanded the joints down so much that the joints were indented. They painted again. After it dried, it still was not right. Damage - during the paint they sprayed paint on our floors in different areas and also gouged the floor with what we think was their ladder. They used paint thinner on our wood floors and were not able to get it all off. The gouge we are now forced to live with, or hire someone to come out and replace the floorboard. Resolution - I have tried to resolve this with the owners by providing them with a written estimate from a painter we know and trust. I paid them in full for the job and respectfully requested reimbursement for the amount to fix their mistakes. They refused to pay and instead wanted to come back a third time with an even different crew to try and fix the problems. No! Learn from our mistakes and choose your contractor ...
Response from Kingdom Contracting
"Thank you for the opportunity to work with you, Mr. Ramirez. Kingdom Contracting worked diligently to please Mr. Ramirez. We took several extra days as he stood behind us helping to bring attention to every detail. Mr. Ramirez found himself pleased and paid out on this project completely. Several days later Mr. Ramirez called and asked us to pay another paint company to come and do a majority of the job over again. Naturally, we worked to come to a resolution but he was unwilling to allow us to fix our work. Our goal is always to please and take care of our customers to the greatest extent. We, however, would not be forced to pay another contractor to fix work which Mr. Ramirez was happy with only days earlier. Thank you, HomeAdvisor for working to help bring this situation to the best resolution possible."

If you are looking to do anything other than paint, keep looking. We hired Kingdom Contracting to do a major remodel of our home. The guys are nice guys and that is why we hired them but after that everything went south. Communication was never good and we managed the project basically ourselves. Other than them sending over people to do work, they served little purpose. They do not have the experience or the knowledge to handle a remodel job. We constantly had to correct things. They never apologized, they just kept trying to band-aid fix things. We had them reframe a room. the wall is not square and now is starting to crack. The tile floors they did had to be redone twice and still looked bad in two of the bathrooms. Our countertops in the kitchen remodel look nice but the cabinet work they did was horrible and the sink was installed incorrectly. Their main millwork and carpenter was horrible and we had to have them redo several of our baseboards where they left gaps. The wood floor install started well but they left gaps and the finished job has to be completely redone. They will try to do things cheaply and charge you high-quality contractor prices. They are used to doing cheap remodels for investors and really only have a background in painting and outdoor patios. We had to stop work with them and hire someone to fix their mistakes. I would highly recommend not using this company if you care about the finished product.

My kitchen was not cleaned. The cabinets were not wiped down on the outside. The pantry closet was not wiped down. The floors in the kitchen and living area were not cleaned. Had to hire another person to come and clean the kitchen and the wood floors.

We downsized and moved to a much smaller house (rental). It was in great need of detail cleaning . My bathrooms, hardwoods and corian tile floors are beautiful. Windows cleaned, kitchen, stove scrubbed spotless. Also wood cabinets polished beautifully. Their prices for 3 hrs/2people was a great value. Try them!
