Best contractor in town. Responsive, very reasonable, expert quality, and professional. Do not normally leave reviews but Kingdom Works Construction deserves the five start rating and then some. We interviewed over 50 companies in the DMV. KWC saved our project and our home. We had significant structural defects and water damage to our existing home resulting from our first contractor walking off the job. KWC came in worked with us, corrected every single defect, finished the project, and fixed all the water damage to our existing home. Working in the construction industry for the past 20 years, KWC is a rarity and a gem. Would never hire anyone else. In fact, we are saving up for our next project with KWC.

Similar to most recent reviews this contractor not only used a contract template that was not compliant with DC law, but also subcontracted our most of the work to either unlicensed or unskilled persons, without any oversight, resulting in a 3-4 month project taking over 2 years, is having to hire another contractor to completely redo all of his work after city inspectors disallowed most of it, and having to retain a lawyer when he actually sued us for breach of contract after we gave him multiple chances to remedy improper/poor quality work. This also signaled that he didnâ t have a firm grasp of the building code since many items were not compliant. He also never credited us back for some items we purchased as he had promised. Bottom line, be wary of hiring him for projects that are this complicated or giving him any upfront money since itâ s not clear if youâ ll recoup your investment.

He presented a non-standard contract and he also breached that contract. He damaged my home and didnâ t attempt to fix anything. This was a 120 day project and went to seven months before I got rid of him; he completed very little. He sent 5 different sets of contractors to my home and did not review any of their work. One of them fell through the flooring, at least 3 times they allowed water to breach the addition and the connecting existing house, causing major mold issues, they ruined my siding. I had to hire a second contractor to correct and complete the work. I also had to get a lawyer involved. Whoever is considering this company in the future should be forewarned. In terms of the owner, he is highly deceitful, highly disorganized and lacks basic discipline.

Very professional came to house quickly and got the repairs done in two days after he have me the quote. Very professional and kind. I would highly recommend this contractor.

Glenn, Porsche and their crew are awesome!! They did an excellent job in my basement. Apply drywall and paint an entire bedroom in 2 days! Plus they removed carpet and replaced with hardwood laminate flooring and they did that in a day! They are currently working on an estimate to redo my entire kitchen. I highly recommend them.!!
