Kitchen and Bath Renovations

Stan Roberts was able to get my time critical kitchen remodel completed on time and in budget. He made sure to keep me informed as to schedule and checked in regularly with me. I travel quite a bit and Stan and his crew completed tasks and cleaned up when I was not able to be there. Stan assisted us tremendously in designing and getting what we needed out of the final project. He and his crew are trustworthy and efficient. I would recommend Stan and his services for any of your remodeling needs. I am totally pleased with my project and will use Stan again.

I have been through 3 remodels (2 bathrooms and now a kitchen) each with a different contractor because there were things about each one that I didn’t like before. I can tell you without hesitation that Stan Roberts has been the absolute best! He is detail oriented, organized, methodical and was here, always supervising the work. He’s also very good at listening to what you want and knowing what is possible within the constraints of your space. He has a great eye for design and will offer suggestions when you are not quite sure how to make what you want come to life. His subcontractors are always on time, take pride in their work and clean up when they leave each day. Living through a remodel is never easy, but this is by far the easiest one I have lived through. When I’m ready for my next remodeling project, I’m calling Stan at Kitchen and Bath Renovations again. I may have to get on a waiting list, but Stan and his team are well worth the wait!      

I'm giving this Pro a 1 star because of the multiple items that were done wrong, fixed and are still wrong. 1. Due to the rush to finish the job in 4 days to let crew go on vacation, the kitchen floor tile was uneven throughout the area that tile was laid. 2. The back splash was not trimmed out properly, I had to buy the end caps, they did install. 3. The back splash was not done to what the contract stated, which included a 4" quartz where it met the counter top. 4. The counter top was redone because the quality of work done by the countertop company was not up to standard. 5. All floor trim was not replaced. Contract advised that they would replace with the existing trim, but it was thrown out including the (trim I had replaced several years ago or destroyed because, as they stated (tile was laid over the trim). When I replaced my section of trim there was no issue with how the tile had been laid against the trim. After discussion, it was decided that all the work had to be totally redone - counter, back splash and floor. 6. Back splash was done correctly this time with 4" quartz as outlined in contract, new counter top and floor tile laid. 7. They did replace all floor trim at their cost. 8. They wanted to charge for "floating the sub-floor" due to it being unlevel. Contract stated that they would "prepare the floor for tile" but once done they wanted to charge for this floating. Finally, they asked if I wanted the old phone plate left in the back splash. I advised no so they cut the wires and now I have no home phone connections. I guess I should have said make sure the wires remain connected. My fault.

Boss man always checked on his men. The people were very easy to work with and they care about your project from start to finish. They were professional about the job and kept a clean project,

Stan and his crew were very thorough and very communicative throughout the process. They even finished much ahead of schedule. The kitchen looks terrific!

He was responsive to any inquiries we had, the work was done by very competent and professional crew, they always came when they said they would. We are very pleased with the kitchen. Stan and his team were reliable, communicated with us frequently, and performed quality work. They focused on our project and finished it in much less time than we anticipated. They were professional, and tried to keep our house as "livable" as possible during a full renovation. Their work was top quality and we are thrilled with the end results.
