I had them come out to replace a cracked driveway and also extend the existing driveway. Throughout the time they were doing the initial work they were prompt and showed up on time however there were a couple of issues. 1) Part of the work involved removing some pretty large tree roots, which they had to contract out. When the contractor was done with that part of the work he came to me to ask about how he was going to be paid; because as the contractor said at the time, kiwi never arranged that with him ahead of time. It was surprisingly cheap so I ended up paying them just to avoid a long drawn-out hassle and kiwi did reduce my total bill by this amount. While I am hoping they would have eventually paid him had I told the contractor to go talk to kiwi, they never should have given their contractor any reason to ever ask me for money. 2) Once they finished laying the driveways I found that water pooled up right next to my foundation on much of the driveway on the side of the house. Before they started this was a major concern of mine which I made very clear and to which they acknowledged. They eventually did come out for repairs but not before missing several scheduled meetings where I waited for hours wondering if they were ever going to show up. When they did finally come out for repairs, all they did was cut a slit in the concrete for water to flow out through. While this workaround sort of works, the driveway is still sloped towards the foundation, and when there is a huge rainstorm the water stays pooled up there for quite a while. I would not use them again, and for what it is worth I advise anyone else to do the same.
