first red flag should have been the large deposits he required and broke the job into 3-4 pieces. 2nd red flag was multiple excuses for why certain things weren't done at timing suggested or well after. 3rd red flag was when he wanted way more info from me as home owner for our house build, versus what he should have known as a professional contractor. he is not actively licensed, can review on nebraska dept of labor. review BBB comments. after terminating after he lied about footings being under poured porches, which they were not. plenty of photo evidence. had 3 other contractors review work to advise things he did was aboslteuyly not acceptable. after reviewing the rework whichi thought he was on board with to fix, versus deposits paid, he had already been overpaid, even inlcuding if we paid for the concrete portion of fixing stuff he did incorrectly. new contractor that had to rip out al lthe porches that were done incorrectly. jsut a few examples

Knight construction boasts about their high quality commutative customer service. When I questioned their work because I felt that it was sub standard I was verbally attacked by Mr. Knight. He refused to say it was his own doing and also claimed that I didn't comunicate with him. The converation was taken away from my being displeased with undone projects and substandard work, to me defending my self from personal attacks.I felt bully and unheard. Finally when Mr. Knight stated that he has a list of positive references, I feel these are only a few hand picked references that are to make him look good. A true test of a great company is working with the comsumer when something does not go well. I would give this company an F

Very communicative, easy to work with- we were pleased with the outcome.
