Scott has done multiple jobs at my house since I purchased it in June 2022. Heâ s installed flooring, a new kitchen countertop, helped replace corroded piping and faucets. Heâ s currently in progress on a larger project for me. Iâ ve always found him to be trustworthy and easy to work with. Heâ s reliable and gets all jobs done in a timely manner. He may not always work a full day but I understand that heâ s a single dad who needs to be at school pick up and I donâ t mind being flexible to his schedule. His pricing is fair and heâ s knowledgeable, always letting me know alternative options to help me meet my goals and stay within budget. As long as he still wants to work as a contractor I will be happy to continue using his services!

Our experience with Scott Siegel was the worst experience we ever had with a contractor in all of our 70+ years. We would caution everyone to think twice about hiring this guy. We hired him in the fall to install a deer fence which we anticipated would be completed before winter. While things started out ok, we found that Mr. Siegel would show up for work sporadically: arriving late, leaving early, not showing up for days on end. The job stretched into the new year, at which time Mr. Siegel basically stopped showing up at all. We contacted him on numerous occasions to ascertain when he would be returning to finish the job. When, after several months, he finally did respond to us, to our amazement, it was to ask for additional money purportedly to purchase more materials, notwithstanding the fact that he had told us in previous emails that he had already purchased all the materials. At this point we told him we did not want him to come back to our property, and, in order to cut our losses, we asked that he simply give us the materials he had purchased and return the down-payment on a flooring job that he was to have started after he finished the fence project. Mr. Siegel did not respond to this request. We then filed an action in Small Claims Court and succeeded in obtaining a judgment against Mr. Siegel for the maximum amount allowed by the Court. Even though he now has a judgment against him, Mr. Siegel has still refused to repay a single cent of the money he owes us. We tried to levy on the bank account where he had deposited our checks, but we are informed that the account is either closed or exempt. Needless to say, we have had to purchase a second set of materials to finish the fence, and we had to pay the new flooring contractors for the flooring job, since Mr. Siegel has not returned that money (even though he admitted to the Judge in open court under oath that he owed us that money). It amazes us that someone who holds himself out to be an honest businessman can rip off two old people without batting an eye. Apparently, he has learned that he can keep money that does not belong to him without suffering any consequences. Finally, we note that the work that Mr. Siegel did perform was quite shoddy: for example, there were two support poles that were not grounded to anything; we had to reinforce the fencing in many places where it was sagging; in one area he had patched together odd pieces of fencing making the fence look cheap and amateurish.

Not good. I thought he was in beginning. it took him a week to do 6X6 deck. kept showing up for a couple of hours and then leaving. took deck down then did not show back up for 2 days. changed pricing a couple of times. when it came to do the door had problems and he was supposed come back for the gap but never called or showed back up so left us trying figure out what to do. he tried to overcharge for the door when we had already looked up door and knew where it was and how much. even sent him the email that the door was at home depot. now that I have to paint it I see all kinds of issues with deck including he left all tags with staples on it. now I see one side lattice caving in and upon inspecting it the board it attached to not even secured on one side. I know your price and inspect thoroughly.

We had our cedar deck sealed. Great attention to detail. Also, very easy to stay in contact with. Highly recommend..

Scott is amazing. Seriously. He shows up when he says he will, his work is impeccable, his prices are fair, he makes sure you are informed of everything that is happening throughout the project, he is a natural problem-solver, and he comes up with creative solutions we would never think about on our own. Finding him was like winning the lottery. We started out with a fence we wanted repaired (he was the only person who looked at it and saw it as reparable rather than telling us the whole thing needed to be torn down and replaced), and since then, he has taken on all kinds of jobs for us. I am convinced he can fix/build/improve anything. He takes great pride in his work and his brand. My only hesitation with posting a review is knowing he will likely to get too busy to take on all the projects we have for him. He really is that good.

He showed up, unlike many others. He's a hard worker, great collaborater, and pleasure to do business with. He contributed along with us in the building of a fence that we're very happy with. In fact we already have him on other projects.

Scott was courteous, reliable and dependable. He did a variety of odd jobs in the house including plumbing and fixing appliance fixtures. He also did outdoor an outdoor building job for me which turned at beautifully. Scottà ¢à  à  s prices are very reasonable considering the quality of work produced.
