Koala Insulation of Triangle Area

Koala took the time to educate us about our options for our hot attic. They were very responsive, punctual, and the owner even replaced our digital thermostat (came back the next day to install it himself) when one of the crew members accidentally stapled through the wire. They hire and offer a discount for Veterans. I would highly recommend Koala!

vets do get a discount and that helps I wish all businesses gave vet discounts and think it would increase their $$income

This started off to be a negative review of Koala Insulation, but I am happy to say that all ended well! I needed to have my attic re-insulated after realizing that the former owner let things slide and that parts of the attic insulation were not up to code. I contacted and interviewed several contractors and decided to go with Koala because they offered the best services for the right price. I am a new home owner so I was looking for someone to help educate me as well as offering me several options. I met/spoke with my salesman several times, and he was extremely knowledgeable in helping me make the right choices. He also made the commitment of visiting the worksite throughout the day to ensure the work was done right. Here is where things went a bit sideways. I requested that a radiant barrier be placed over the blown insulation to keep it from shifting and to add additional insulation to further reduce my c`ooling and heating costs. Unfortunately, the salesman did not show up to the worksite as promised. It was not an issue until the workmen started to lay down the radiant barrier. They ran into problems installing the barrier and had to call the salesman. There were other issues that came up throughout the job requiring attention. I said at the beginning of this review that it ended well. Both the President of the company, and the salesman, came by to apologize for the mix up. They both made sure the work was completed to my total and complete satisfaction. Often times on any home project unexpected things can go wrong. So itâ s important that the contractor accept responsibility (which Koala did) and to remediate all the issues at no additional cost (which Koala also did). Would I recommend Koala? The answer is a resounding yes. My only recommendation for anyone starting any work on your home is to ensure that a supervisor always be on site to oversee the work and keep you informed throughout the project of its progress and, more importantly, to address any issues that invariable arise.

They did a great job with our insulation work. On time and great communication from them. We will be using them again in the future!
