Koala Insulation of North Houston is the area's certified insulation and attic ventilation expert providing high-quality insulation and ventilation services to homeowners, contractors and property owners. We work with new construction, retrofit applications, and properties affected by natural disasters or that have suffered significant damage. We provide all types of insulation including blown-in cellulose and fiberglass, spray foam, and batt insulation. Furthermore, we provide a number of energy efficiency upgrades such as air sealing, thermal imaging, attic entry/hatch insulators and attic ventilation upgrade (solar fans etc). If it involves insulating or improving energy efficiency within a building envelope, we can handle it. We offer competitive prices and free insulation evaluations. We are locally owned and operated, fully insured and licensed, and believe savings and comfort go hand in hand!

How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because I want tp help home owners live more comfortably and affordably by improving their home's efficiency. Maintaining a comfortable home in a variable climate like Houston can be very affordable and can be achieved through some simple means if done correctly. Why pay more money and consume more energy to maintain your home than is needed? It just doesn't make sense. We believe in leadership through service, and that means serving our customers and our employees with integrity by delivering a great product and empowering our employees to be the best in the business. Both Franchesca and I were born and raised in the Houston area and are very proud to be part of this great community. We feel a strong connection to those around us and serving home owners by delivering a great product at an affordable price is a great way to grow closer to those around us..

We had insulation installed in our cathedral ceiling and the crew did a great job. They were professional, arrived on time, and handled the job with care and efficiency. While it?s too soon to tell how much of a difference it will make in comfort and energy savings, the work was done well and we?re hopeful it?ll pay off. Overall, a smooth experience.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
