I was very happy and satisfied with the work and services. I would work with this company in the Future and would refer them to anyone looking to Build or remodel.

THE WORKERS SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, AND PERFORMED THE WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER AND THE DECK LOOKED NICE.

Never on time, never prepared. He would leave and go get supplies and then charge me for the time he was gone. He didn't have any help. I ended up helping him with the back hoe and shoveling. I fired him. He milked the job for every penny.
Response from Kodiak Construction Co.
"This woman believed she could do everything better herself. I was not comfortable performing this work without a building permit. She has had previous construction experience, including operating a backhoe, and could not wait until I took a break to jump in the seat to excavate the foundation area. We agreed to part ways early due to failure to communicate properly that we each had a job to do. I wish her the best of luck with future endeavors."

The entire bathroom was remodeled, including installation of new tub, shower, vanity, counter top, tiles, lighting fixtures and plumbing. Bob and Henrique were great to work with and Sterling was very conscientious. Dave was very nice but did encounter some problems with the plumbing, but these were worked out. Very professional and thorough and would definitely recommend them!

Thus far we have not begun our build - we were searching for a company that could provide a bid and handle the entire build from permit process through turn key. Kodiac was responsive and thorough. We have our bid and the cost is quite reasonable. Kodiac is able to complete the build when we are ready to start within the timeframe we are seeking, at a price that we are comfortable with. Further, Kodiac has already done legwork necessary with architectural engineers and the building department, as well as site visit, to ensure they are on target. I appreciate the dedication to customer satisfaction, willingness, and ability demonstrated.

Steve is a very nice person but does not place quality workmanship as his workers are doing most of the work for him.
Response from Kodiak Construction Co.
"This project was not typical of our workmanship. This work was a small closet extension, the existing closet was out of square and a coat hanger would hit the door when closed. I extended the closet as requested. The Client was dissatisfied because the shelf cleats were not extended. I went back and extended the shelf cleats. The Client then said there were other problems with this small area. He never mentioned to me while I was there. He is a very difficult client. Additionally,He is in an "on-going battle" with Home-Depot because of his "unrealistic" expectations of work performed. I would not work for him in the future"

Steve is great to work with and I continue to refer him, everyday. (Consumer was rushed to get off call, would not share more comments)
