Korte Does It All

Had a shower replaced back in February. They took my installation out. The shower is on outside walls did not put any installation back in and put the pipes back in live in a cold climate come this winter my pipes will freeze. They will not come out here and put installation. Good luck of having them fix anything and plus my tub is cracked. It?s only been two months. have called them. They have had me waiting over five hours of saying somebody is coming and no one showed up refusing to be able to speak to a manager, but they got their money upfront which cost me $7500 to have a plastic tub put back in my house and the job not done right.

Over charges for service! Asked the service tech what would be the charge to fix and I thought he said $45. When I get the bill after the work is complete it was $485. When questioned about not having the rate in the preauthorization I was told he always put the rate in after completed. I called the office to address and was told someone would call me. No one ever called I had to call back. When questioned about the rate was told it was a fair rate. I told him I disagree and his tech did not have the rate on the preauthorization and I thought he stated $45 for the install. This is a $50 part and the tech was at my home for maybe an hour and the installation took maybe 30min. Even if you allow a mark-up on the part and include the service call fee this was should have been $200 at best. Service manager would not do anything stated it was a fair rate! I will never use this company in the future.

Quick easy and didn’t try to sell me a lot of things I did not need.

Cost is based on a set cost plus . OK for an emergency. They charged time taken to go to store for parts.

The have completed two projects for us, and everything was perfect!

The plumber was incompetent, didn't knock on the correct door for one, also did not know how to turn off the main water main valve, I had to do it myself, also they stated that they would go the same day, but never happened! last but not least, they wanted to charge me $99 for absolutely nothing, he ended charging me $49 just to look @ the faucet, so sad...

Really can't complain about Korte. Actually downloaded HomeAdvisor to AVOID calling Korte again for a small electrical project - but they recommended Korte. So what the hell I pulled the trigger and got the project done. They even found stuff I didn't know was wrong and let my wife know about it. So the project got even more expensive :). But I'm really not complaining - it's just retail and I was trying to find an alternative. But I'm happy !! The guys are very professional and put the bootie shoes on which makes me feel like I'm at an ER. Maybe they could wear surgical masks and hairnets too for the full effect.
