Incredibly professional. They came when they said they would, did the work and then followed up about a week later to make sure we were happy. My roof is almost 2 years old now, and I could not be happier.

After looking for several years to find someone to willing and able to work on the dormers of our 2nd Empire Victorian house, to go with our slate Mansard roof. We heard about Kravitz & Son listening to WDST radio. Jay called promptly and within in weeks had the job, priced out, contract signed and the roofing was completed in days. Very happy with the work, quick and very well done. Great to have an experienced professional who knows what to do on This Old House, and who gets the job done. Would definitely recommend them for roofing repair or replacement.

We were having some work done in our house when our contractor found some wet roofing plywood in the attic near our chimney indicating a slow leak. After doing some research for us he recommended Kravitz and Son and I contacted Jay. He quickly arranged for a temporary repair to be done along with a full inspection to see what was needed. When they realized how extensive the problem was Jay cancelled the temporary repair as it would be a waste of money and scheduled the full roof replacement, which we already knew was needed, along with extensive repairs to the chimney which was badly damaged. Jay was extremely thorough in detailing the work that was needed and how they would proceed. The crew showed up on the date scheduled (which is not always the case) and over the course of a few days installed the new roof and repaired the chimney. During this time Jay kept in contact with me, updating me on the progress and forwarding numerous photos of the work being done. I feel the level of communication was well above what I expected, and the job turned out beautifully! I would highly recommend Kravitz and Son Roofing to anyone in need of roof work or chimney repair.

Possibly the only roofer in the Ulster/ Greene/ Duchess area that does repairs. No pressure to buy a new roof if it can be fixed. They were on time, worked late, and did a great, neat job. Price was reasonable. Canâ t stress enough how important it is to have a competent source for roof repairs. Absolutely recommend.

He came on a Sunday morning to do the work and I was really happy with the work he did and so glad I chose him. He also called and followed up after the work was completed to check in with me. They are very good at diagnosing problems with my flat roof.
