About us
3 Amish Ladies & an English Woman is a literal reflection of how the business began. My name is Laura, and I’ve worked in the cleaning and home management industry for over two decades. Years ago, I worked alongside a group of Amish ladies in rural Pennsylvania. They referred to me as English, the term used for anyone outside the Amish or Mennonite community. During that time, I came to deeply admire their integrity, craftsmanship, and uncompromising attention to detail. They approached cleaning not as a chore, but as something to take pride in, no matter how large or difficult the task. While we no longer exclusively employ the Amish, the standards they set remain the foundation of our business. Today, we seek team members with honesty, reliability, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to leave each home more beautiful than we found it. Cleaning, to us, is still a work of art-and always will be.
