Mike did great job for us. He ran into some very old plumbing that was well hidden for the estimate. He took care of it with no extra charge. We were very comfortable with him being in our home from the start and he didn't disappoint! The dust from the job was nonexistent. This was very important to us and it was well managed. While project moved quickly he never seem rushed or in a hurry. All around great job and highly recommended.

I suffered a knee injury and was having issues getting in and out of my tub. I had several essentials to install a tub to walk-in shower conversion and the cost was too much because I'm retired and on a fixed income. Mike and his team worked with me and not only completed the job in 1 day he saved me thousands compared to the other estimates and it's the exact same materials and warranty. I'm very pleased that I got my walk-in shower it looks beautiful and I can still afford to eat. I highly recommend Mike.

HIred Kurtz Construction for a couple of factors. One when reviewing in Sept/Oct 2018, only saw two reviews- Both said good work, but no detail, one stating they were hard to reach. The second reason because Mike, the owner stated they also were doing some remodeling with a famous fast food chain restaurant, and in my past business experience a number of years ago, they had very high standards. As the project began in Nov 2018, workers did not start until 10:00 or after, and usually worked 6 hrs most days, sometimes less. Mike had a number of personal issues which dragged out the completion. Plans were to finish before Christmas, as it got closer to Christmas, then they began working extra long days and weekends. As they completed the drywall and painting, I had to point out to them more than once, numerous areas that needed to be fixed. As we got into Jan 2019, most work was completed. Plans were to put the laminate hardwood flooring on the steps, he tried but it wouldn't work, steps had some imperfections. We had no choice but to put a carpet. He installed the carpet, the final thing to do, and it is not good. Padding not wide enough, last step to the floor has a gap. Today is 2/12/19, almost two weeks and he still has not come back to fix the steps. At the end of Dec. 2018, I noticed a review on another website, stating pretty much the same issues. If I had seen that before, I would not have hired this company. Obviously, that famous fast food chain restaurant has lowered their standards.

First, I placed a call to HA and you were to have someone call me back. This never happened. Project slated to take 10-15 days and took over double that mainly because of not enough daily hours on the job. This resulted in running late and shoddy workman ship. Very sloppy environment on a daily basis. Owner has too many personal issues that takes up his time. I held back $ until "Finish work" was corrected and at that only 75% satisfied. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VENDOR! Wayne Poe 502-xxxx

His work was excellent but was hard to get ahold of after. Not a good follow up and hard to communicate with.

I would recommend them.
