Choice warranty sent Kycor to check on my heat pump. Kycor provided a diagnosis which according to choice said I had not given it the proper maintenance so they would not cover the replacement. I did ask how much it would be if I paid out of pocket and they gave me a quote which they ended up charging me 300 dollars for. 300 for an estimate. I contacted the BBB and their response was that they spent hours researching the unit and that I had taken the information and gave it to someone else. I did end up hiring someone else after reading the reviews and NO I did not pass on any information. The company I hired did their own research and did the job. All I got from Kycor was threats through voicemail , texts and emails just like other reviewers.

The severity of their errors necessitated the complete removal of their hazardous installation. Prompt Correction by Another Company: Contrastingly, another company removed and correctly reinstalled the system in a single business day, highlighting KyCorâ s staggering inefficiency and incompetence. Aggressive Post-Installation Behavior: KyCorâ s behavior post-installation has been aggressive and unethical, involving persistent harassment for payment and lien threats. They did a great job on my project and the best part was that it ended up being much less than what they originally quoted.
