Andrew proved to be the best contractor we have ever dealt with. He provided an immediate response to our phone call as well as a fair and reasonable quote. He proved to be knowledgeable in the details of masonry work, followed up with us daily to address any possible concerns we may have had, and completed the job quickly and on budget. This was impressive considering the rainy weather we experienced. We are happy to recommend L.A. Hollis Construction and do not hesitate to give this company a 5 star rating.

Also, when the job was about 90% complete, Andrew not only took the time to assess the work that had been done, but he also took note of our (very minor) concerns. The next day, when he and his team returned to complete the remaining 10% of work, they meticulously addressed every single concern we had. I needed the brick veneer replaced on ONE step to satisfy aethetic concerns of my HOA. Andrew bid the job Wednesday and showed up with his crew Thursday morning. His experienced masons used Porter cement (rather than masonry for the original job that crumbled in 2 years.) The mortars match perfectly and we will bring L.A. Hollis back next year for the other 5 steps.

I originally hired L. A. Hollis to arrange delivery of topsoil for a big landscaping project we were starting in our backyard. L. A. Hollis came the next morning to give us a quote. We were so impressed with their professionalism and desire to help us with our project. Their quote was excellent and within our budget. They spread 45 yards of dirt, graded the entire backyard and laid 16 pallets of sod. They worked in the sun, in the rain and always stayed professional. Our backyard looks beautiful.
