I signed a contract with LAN on April 8th and work began at the house on August 9th. I needed a perimeter drain because there was water in the basement. They were also going to install a French drain. Cole did a fantastic job digging around the foundation. I could not ask for better work. I left for vacation, and when I returned, I was told some work needed to be redone. Cole once again fixed things. After he left, work was not as good. The fence needed to be put back up. Not quality work. A new sidewalk had to be poured with a pad for the air conditioner. When the AC repairman came to hook it up, the pad was not big enough. The sidewalk was not replaced the way it was originally poured. When they cleaned the concrete out of the mixer, it was done in the middle of the yard so now I have a pile of concrete in my grass. When I signed off the project, a note was put that they would return to fix any place where the ground settled. That was 2 months ago. I was told that LAN did not finish their projects, but they were so nice when the initial work was being done, that I thought it might be done right. I have tried to contact Danny, but he has not gotten back to me. The company would only need to come back for 2 to 3 hours to complete my project. I will not be recommending this company to any of my friends. I also work in the building and zoning office in our town and when someone comes in to get a permit, you can be sure I will let them know my situation.

I purchased my home in January 2020 and during the purchase agreement the seller agreed to pay for a floor drain system in the basement due to a leaking basement. I had hired Lan Construction to put the system in. They required to be paid in full before starting the work. I paid them in full on January 21st 2020 in the amount of $9,290.00. They stated that I would not need a sump pump put in and they could tie into an existing furnace drain. I dont know anything about floor drains and was unaware the furnace was tied into the sewer line. I also learned that Lan does not have a plumbers license when doing this work. They violated a city ordinance by hooking into the sewer drain. While looking at the work being done i saw where a cast iron pipe under the concrete floor had been struck by one of Lans employees. When i questioned it I was told it was a non working pipe. I took their word for it. I have been told by plumbers that it was most likely a sewage pipe. Then back in September of 2021 my condensation line has stopped with sewage. Then on February 23rd 2022 in the same area Lan struck what they said was a non working pipe I had raw sewage and food from the garbage disposal come up out of the floor drain that they installed. I have made numerous phone calls to the owner. The only thing he has agreed to is half the cost on a sump pump. The major issue is there is sewage in the drain under the floor and needs to be cleaned out and is a health issue. the system is still tied into the sewer line. Not once have they offered to have someone come look at it. The system i paid for has a 25 year warranty as well!!

stay away. they will initially take some monies. you will not here again. they will kick the tin can when contacted. they have a minimal of our money. after 3 mos. my lawyer has advised to write it off. I cringe at this thought. though it will cost us more to litigate. Please note that previous reviews are not showing. The air conditioner was left off the pad and the freon ran out, never took the time to tell me about it. This was discovered by a mowing crew, we had to get in touch for repair as to have air for my COPD husband, we had been told we would be first to be serviced after **weather broke** to come back and finish, never happened, not even a call. Finally, they show on a terrible day, to fill a ditch with gravel, they were gone by noon. Never came to the door with any comments, just called, had no intentions on sodding, seeding or strawing for the damages to the yard, no way can a mower be used. Called to ask when he would return, some guy named Aaron answered, asked me what had not been done. Really, never heard of projects like this, which cost us $10k, being left this way! SAD, they had my money and were not intending on returning!
