Very expensive for subpar work. Within one week of having my P-trap replaced for $3250 which took one man less than six hours. I had sewage backing up in my garage and ground water backing up in my basement. Sewage in the garage covered about a 10 foot diameter circle and receded on its own just leaving sewage residue for me to scrape up. Had to run a wet vac and removed 35 gallons of water from the area around my basement drain. When they replaced the P-trap, the concrete patch looked like it was done by a grade schooler by hand. Not sure who the technician was because they gave me two names. The automatic texting told me that Josiah Walker was at my residence. Then someone named Rob Provost started texting me directly. Came to do a drain clean out and then upsold the project and then scheduled the project and then when I called back today claimed he doesnâ t do scheduling. Perhaps not but I was also told by Mr. Provost this was all ground water and nothing to do with sewage. Interestingly enough, I have sewage in my garage. I cannot recommend this company. I fear I have to hire another company to fix their subpar work.

Last week our kitchen sink was clogged. LBA sent a plumber out and they tried to use their auger to clear the clog, but they could not get it cleared. The plumber told us they would need to come out a couple days later and use the jetter to clear the clog. The plumber said it would fix the problem and that it would be $765. We desperately needed our sink fixed and figured since we were part of the LBA rewards program that it was going to be the best deal. The LBA plumber came back out three days later and used the jetter on our sink drain. After two hours, he said that he did his best but it would take too long with the jetter to get the drain cleared. The plumber suggested we would need to cut a hole in our basement ceiling and replace the pipe which would cost $1800 (plus however much it cost to fix the ceiling). We still had to pay LBA the full $765 for the jetter even though they had not cleared our drain. After the plumber left, we noticed that he left deep scratches all over our hardwood floors around the kitchen sink. We called LBAs office to complain, and they said they did their best, the $765 charge was for the attempt, not actually for clearing the drain, and that the scratches in the hardwood couldnt be from the plumber because he had a blanket down. Later that afternoon, we discovered that the sink was now dripping water into the cabinet below. We finally called another company who came out right away. This company said that the LBA plumber who worked on the drain before had left out a washer when he put the sink back together and that is what was causing the leak. This other company also cleared the clog in our sink in under an hour for less than $200. No jetter or pipe replacements needed. We can not help but feel like LBA scammed us. After being loyal customers for years, we will not be using them going forward and advising everyone we know to do the same.

Technicians, salesman, and installer very prompt and helpful

I was Quoted one Fee to find the Problem and Told a Price would be given to repair once the problem was found.No Problem was found and I was Charged Double what the quote was. I was left with 3 Large Holes cut out of my ceiling which I had to hire another company who charged me $300 to repair. These People Lie!... Would Never Recommend it to anyone use!!! 38 years is Business?? A Total Rip Off!

I have been a customer for over 20 years first in a large home at [Consumer Information Removed], KC.Mo you replaced a water line and boiler at that address. You also installed zone conditioning there. At my address now [Consumer Information Removed] you have replaced a furnace and air conditioner so I feel I know your work and I have no problem with it but you cancelled an appointment today to take care of other people who have lost air conditioning and I feel it is because you already have my money because I sign a contract and pay in advance every fall. You are coming tomorrow afternoon so it is not the end of the world but I really feel since I called over a month ago and made this appointment my time should be considered in your managing your schedule. I will be home tomorrow and wait for your tech.

We hired them to replace 4 toilets.

We had both geothermal and conventional HVAC projects. Our commercial project manager was both responsive and accommodating to get old and damaged units replaced. The team of 4 doing the installation for the conventional unit were careful with building access and kept us advised of progress throughout the job. When inevitable surprises turned up, they helped us make good decisions for changes.

Once we got past the initial come on, it was terrific. Any company that charges $90.00 to tell you they cant fix it places you at a terrible and deliberate disadvantage. Companies that maintain this policy inevitably tell you they cant fix it. Theyre in the replacement business. What to do when its your air conditioner on a 100 degree day. The installation itself was terrific and very expertly done. The technicians were great. The closer was a salesman.

They would not give me a price over the phone for changing out the 3 knob shower for a one knob shower. It came to over $500 per hour for the time they were there. The work was done well and we needed it done. The two guys were nice. I felt I was over a barrel when they told me there was a $90 charge for coming out to look at what we needed done and give us a bid. They told me that every viable plumbing company would have the same system, charge for the estimate, and have a similar rate for the work done.

They were prompt and they did the job.

Technician was a very professional person, but was new to residential work and could not answer questions about Home Advisor services or it connections to LBA. Prices quoted for work was excessively high. Did not use company to complete work.

Phil was totally honest about the fact the repairs he could do would not being worth the cost. He offered a quote for a major fix down the line, but also recommended a DIY solution until it came to that. Amazing service.
