"Mr. Mike: I apologize these guys didn't get back to clean your job. In my opinion, that is inexcusable. However, my policy about finishing a job has always been the same- we dont accept any money until the homeowner gives us the OK after we've completed all tasks. To say we didn't finish is really unfair, because we didnt cash your check until we walked everything down with you and got the thumbs up from you. And to accuse my men of drinking on the job is not only unwarranted, but untrue. My guys worked around the rain and mud, through the cold muggy weather, and on the day of the pour worked on your job until 1 in the morning, a night a cold front blew in. They didnt stay late in the cold to crack open some cold ones, they stayed late because the cold weather caused the concrete to set up slowly, and took the time to make sure the troweled finish was done properly. Please give me a call, I'd be more than happy to discuss how to remedy the situation."
