Our experience was deeply disappointing. They insisted we replace all AC ductwork due to low static pressure without offering alternative solutions, though viable options existed. Multiple technicians revisited to fix mistakes, and we received inconsistent and contradictory information, showcasing a lack of expertise. Had we not been vigilant, these issues would have gone unaddressed. The same salesperson, lacking authority or technical training, was sent to address our concerns and repeatedly called his boss, Kevin Cairo, who was unprofessional and dismissive. Kevin blamed issues on contractors and claimed mold was present in our attic, a concern never raised before. A reputable company should have flagged such issues immediately for mitigation. Instead, Kevin demanded payment, threatening a lien on our home. This felt unprofessional and dismissive of our complaints. They failed in every way, from upselling unnecessary work and incomplete service to poor communication and unprofessional.

I called Lickety Split to find out what was happening with my backed up plumbing. First off they wanted $99 to come out & assess the problem, which charged my card immediately. I was told they would be out between 4pm to 8pm. By 10pm they were still a no show. I called and was told to keep waiting that they would be by sometime that night. By that time it was getting pretty late & asked them to just refund my money back to my card I will find a different company. I hired another company they were there first thing the next morning. I am writing this review because I have yet to receive my refund after 5 weeks. This is insane!!! They charged my card within seconds of calling them, but I am apparently on a waiting list for refunds. Ridiculous!

SCAM! We chose this company because it came up on top search with 5 stars, we had a broken pipe and needed a quote. Well, we had to pay up front on the phone $187 just for someone to come out. And none of that cost goes toward the cost of the repair. They ask you to give them a 5 star review on the service call when you schedule the appointment, so you think you are rating that person you are talking to. The technician got to our home at the latest time of the appt (5p-9p) around 9pm, took him 15 minutes to look at it and gave us 3 different quotes at about $3000 with some type of “3 year warranty”….the lowest was $2000 with a “1 year warranty”. That made no sense, how about “no warranty”?! Warranty for what?! After that nonsense, called around to other places and Roto-Rooters came out at 11pm FREE of charge to look at it and fixed the problem for $250. Lickety Split did absolutely NOTHING but take $187 from us! For $60 more we had the issue fixed by midnight by Roto-Rooters.

They no nothing about annual recalibration of the thermostat. And we're going to put a thermometer in front of air flow vents ( they don't have laser thermostat pointers.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I have never written a review before but found it necessary based on the terrible experience I have had with them. I honestly think this company scams people. I have used them a total of three times for various rental needs over the past couple of years but will never use them again and tell everyone I know in the industry to avoid them. They failed to show up for their scheduled AC tune ups FOUR separate occasions after calling and confirming for all appointment times. They finally showed up and tried to bully me into doing work on my AC unit that was not needed ("we should rewire the unit. It will take away the heat but you don't need heat in Florida"... "no thank you. Please just do the agreed upon maintenance"). Turned into a lot of berating that I wasn't being a good homeowner or landlord. Eventually got the technician to stop pushing me to do the rewiring. Turns out, I was charged ~$600 to rewire the unit anyway. I have been working for nearly a month to get refunded and they keep saying "a few more days to process". I am not convinced they refunded me at all. They cant even tell me the last four digits of the card they refunded it to. To top it all off, the AC is not working now so I call a different company to go out and do a tune up. Turns out, they were out on site at my condo flushing the drain line THE DAY AFTER lickety split was out there under the guise of doing the drain flushing and annual check up. In short, I don't trust this company to do any of the work that they say they are doing. When they mess up, they string you along saying they are trying to make it better. Granted the other two technicians were fine but the one that came out for the AC was extremely rude and condescending. Also, all there customer service people are a pleasure to talk to so it's not their fault but I shouldn't be having to follow up this much on a scammed AC tune up job to an AC that had no issues.

This company is genuinely a good company. Iâ ve read the negative reviews here and they are not at all what the company is actually like. My experiences over the last year are as follows: Gave them a call for electrical work, they charge for the site visit to review existing conditions. They come out and give you the price for the one thing that needs to get done plus, if you want, any things that should get fixed that are deficient that they can repair (at your own convenience and no pressure). They do the estimate if possible, while on site, and schedule you for the work. They have a variety of plans if you want, such as a bronze silver and gold plan, that allow them to come back for service at a variety of costs. I appreciated the transparency and the additional review for things since they were already on site. Specifics: I needed a fan install, they reviewed wiring and gave me a price. They also gave me a price for other items such as faulty wire connections they found, and life safety hazards they found due to improper grounding in the kitchen, they gave me pricing, and I agreed to do the work after reviewing their proposal. I asked for a contract which they furnished, and proceeded to signing them up. The work was scheduled, they showed up, did all the work well, and returned for a follow up visit a month later to confirm all was working well. They donâ t charge the cheapest amount, but thatâ s because you get premium service. They arenâ t interested in the race to the bottom, which I respect. I recommend them to anyone who wants quality work with realistic expectations.

Please do not think this company cares about you, your property, or anything more than getting paid. I know it is a for profit corporation but geez at least try to act like you care. We recently had our septic tank and drain field replaced by Crown Construction (outstanding, see our review) as Lickety Split is nothing more than a sales company. Empty promises, shady contracts (scribble on an estimate sheet is not a contract), no one on site during any of the work. The only person to come by unannounced was Andrew to see if the job was done and they could get paid!! Unbelievable. Lickety contacted our loan company a month before the permit even arrived saying the job was completed to get paid. I received a call at 8am the day after the job was finally completed after 2 days turned into 8 from Andrew seeing if they could mark our order as complete and not to worry about contacting the loan company he would at some point. Yes, he did contact them because I had 2 emails from them 15 minutes prior to his call to me. Shameless!!

They broke my water pipe during the repair of my A/C, which in itself it not a big deal. However they led me on for hours telling me a plumber was "an hour away" instead of being honest with me. It took them 5.5 hours to repair the water line that their employee broke. Additionally both techs were rude, the service manager is disgustingly rude, like cartoonishly rude. Stay away.
