Overall I had a horrible experience with this company. I signed a contract on 10/14/19 to have plans were drawn up and structural/engineering plans completed for a 500 square feet Casita and one car garage expansion.The scope of design plans listed out in the contract should have been about 6-7 weeks. I finally received my final invoice for them to submit to the city on 4/1/20, 5 months later. I paid a $1500 initial down payment and they sent us an invoice for another $4500+. They charged us 70 hours (for their work, outside of all the other fees for structural/engineering, etc) from all the research I did, should not have taken them more than 10-20 hours to complete. This company is crooked, pretty sure they only sent me a huge invoice because of all the Coronavirus concerns and they have no work now. I was willing to pay about $4500 for total plans and they still will not budge, I am not giving them a total of $6000 for this small amount of work and significant delays in completion. So sad to see companies taking advantage of hardworking people during this difficult time in our country. They will not receive another penny from me, since they are in severe breach of their contract with me. Part of the contract was for them to submit to my HOA, which I also had to do myself. I have an initial plan and will find someone else to redo plans so I can submit to the city and get moving on my remodel for a fair and reasonable fee. Stay away from this company, horrible business and dishonest business practices.

"First and foremost we would never send anyone an invoice to take advantage of them, period. It is an assumption by this customer that we do not have any work. This customer has never offered to make a lower payment to us. As a company we try to make all of our customers happy, that does not always work. And as far as I can tell, the customer was not dissatisfied with the work, but with the price."
