LOBATO PAINTING

When I moved back into my childhood home after it had been a rental for nearly 30 years, it was in desperate need of updating. Tenant paint jobs, outdated finishes, and even original wallpaper made it one of the least attractive houses on the block. I hired Luis and the team at Labato Painting to paint the interior, and the transformation was incredible. Once the walls were finished, I decided to have them restore the beautiful Craftsman woodwork as well. They carefully buffed, stained, and varnished it, bringing it back to life. Seeing the results inside convinced me to have the exterior painted too. Along the way, I also decided to install a new kitchen floor, which Luis and his team handled beautifully. Luis, Jesus, Augustine, and Leo were professional, hardworking, respectful, and always mindful of my time and space. Leo also did outstanding work on my chimney. The house looks great, the neighbors are happy and impressed and I finally feel like I?m back home.

We were SO lucky to hire these guys! Right from the start the estimate was clear and detailed, and when the work started it was obvious they really knew what they were doing. Not just painting - the prep work was very thorough, and they found some places that needed additional repair that likely has saved us a lot of money by getting ahead of damage. They provided photographs all during the process so we could see what was being done, the workers were clean and tidy and very hard working. Price was entirely reasonable - roughly in the middle of the quotes we collected, and DEFINITELY a bargain for the quality of the work. If I ever need any work done that they include in their portfolio, they will be the first people we call. I really don't think you could go wrong.

Luis and his crew did a great job for us. We had them paint our kitchen and bathroom. We were staying here while the work was going on. Always respectful and unobtrusive. In addition to the painting they refinished and sealed our large deck. Taking extra care with all the prep work. 5 Stars! Definitely my first call the next time we need a painter

Luis did an amazing job painting our apartment for a very reasonable price. He is punctuate, good with communication, and very professional. He even did some extra paint and patching things here and there without us asking him to. I can’t ask for more. Highly recommend Luis for any paint job.

We hired Luis and his team from Lobato Painting Company and met at noon to go over the job. I had to head back to sleep shortly after due to jet lag, and when I woke up just 2–3 hours later, the ceiling painting was already finished—beautifully done! My ceiling was shining like the sky. Luis and his crew did an amazing job painting the exterior of our 110 year old house. They took care of everything-replacing rotten siding and window sills, patching, sanding and applying 2 coats of primer before paining the final 3-color scheme. They were professional and paid close attention to detail. House looks almost brand new. We?ve gotten so many compliments from neighbors. Highly recommend!

I don't think you will find any bad reviews here with Luis and crew because I doubt there would be any. They are honest, straight -forward, with good prices and instant quotes on small jobs, and clear estimates on larger ones. They are always on time and communicate with you during the job by text or phone. They don't nickel and dime you, jobs start fairly quickly after an estimate, and everything is hassle free. We have used Luis and his crew at least three times. Seriously, no need to look elsewhere.

Luis and his crew did an amazing job on my (admittedly small) bathroom painting project. He also provided great customer service, with clear, frequent and courteous communication, explaining the steps of the process, and then executing on the project. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish, and I love the new blue color! Lobato Painting did an excellent job painting the exterior of my house. Luis Contreras and his team were always on time and worked very hard every day. Luis was able to give us a referral for someone to fix the roof before the painting was done and we were very pleased with the outcome. Luis found some window frames that needed replacing and let me know and replaced them expertly. He and his team showed great attention to detail and the end result is beautiful.

Luis and his crew transformed my two bedrooms from all beige/faux textured walls and ceilings to absolutely beautiful spaces. They smoothed walls and ceilings, and painted with my color choices. They also painted the trims and doors. My rooms are so beautiful now and the work was excellent. Luis communicated with me the entire process, and made sure the work was completed to my approval. Not only are they a local small business, but the estimate was accurate and affordable. I will definitely call Lobato Painting again for future projects, and highly recommend them!!!

Great experience from start to finish

Luis and his crew did a great job refinishing my tenant-worn kitchen cabinets. The surfaces had been chipped and the finish worn off. Luis expertly sanded them smooth and applied two finishing coats. After adding knobs and pulls, the cabinets look new. Luis and his crew are extremely responsible. They give fair bids and follow them through. He has done two jobs for me, and the site is always clean and orderly. I recommend him highly.

Luis and his crew did an excellent job painting an Edwardian flat with lots of detail. Of several bids, Luisâ s was about in the middle. When he came by for the estimate, he showed me his portfolio (including several jobs in progress). He reminded me that a good paint job is all about preparation -protection, masking, patching, and sanding. He and his crew followed through with that philosophy in my 100+ year old apartment. The result is amazing- it looks like a new place. Luis advised me about the paint finishes to highlight the detail (box-beam ceilings, wainscoting, picture moldings, and ceiling medallions). He even detailed the closets! The team works regular daytime hours and is extremely considerate. They protected the wood floors, masked everything, and covered the vents. They left the job site clean and orderly each day. I recommend them highly.

I highly recommend Lobato Painting! The entire crew was skilled, meticulous, and went above and beyond in everything they did. Their prices were so reasonable. I was renovating my momâ s house in SF and I couldnâ t be there in person to supervise, but Luis and his team showed up every morning on time and finished an enormous project in very little time. The results were better than I could have hoped. Five gold stars.

I hired Luis Contreras and his crew from Lobato Painting to repaint my condo. They were very through with the prep and cleanup a nd delivered a flawless paint job. After the paining was fiinished , a flooring contractor damaged one of the baseboards and nicked the walls in several in several places. Luis came back and fixed the walls and baseboards and touched up the paint perfectly.
