Paid Russell for materials and labor to install new doors at the house. Iâ ve had him do prior work on my house for a few yearsand everything was good and he completed the jobs so I paid him in advance. But something has happened with him and now is extremely untrustworthy and non responsive. He took all of the money and never showed up. Always had an excuse when he did respond. Found out heâ s done this to several other people and now has warrants out for his arrest for fraud. Avoid at all costs

Hired Russell Fernandez with L&R Home Remodeling to completely remodel my master bathroom. The estimate was for 2 weeks, $10k in materials, and $6k in labor. The job started mid December. Immediately Russell would cancel work dates and push out when he could come to work. Even after work started, he and his crew would show up one day, and then not return for another week. TWO months later, and the job was barely beyond demo. Russell told me if he couldn't finish the job in the next week, that he would be gone for 1-2 months on an out of town job. I also discovered no permits were pulled for my job, which now the city was imposing fines for this. Three months later and Russell has broken all contact and will not respond to text or calls. He abandoned the job after only demo, and owes me $15k for pre-paid materials and labor costs. After he abandoned my job, I found out (in the same time frame) he did the same to other customers. This guy is a crook.

The company is very unresponsive and their communication is below what it needs to be. They have no consideration for their clients, they unhelp me for a month and a half not coming on scheduled dates

Mr Hernandez was very professional and made this remodel a much easier process than I had expected. I was a little concerned in choosing a contractor because of a previous bad experience. He communicated the schedule with me clearly and completed my kitchen in the time allotted. He was a delight to work with and I will definitely use him in the future. Thank you Russell, Great Work!!
