Unprofessional, unresponsive, inexperienced. I hired Michael to inspect the chimney and for a quote for new glass doors. He provided an inspection that suggested that our chimney had serious repairs needed ($15,000-$20,000!) After following up a few times, he didn't respond making us feel like he was trying to take Advantage of us. We contracted with a very professional fireplace company to perform a thorough inspection and found that there was nothing wrong at all. I asked the 2nd inspector to look again to see if they could find anything at all. They couldn't and said that the first inspector (Fireside Sweeps - Michael) had absolutely no idea what he was doing. The 2nd company provided a report and their pictures confirmed no deficiency. We strongly feel taken advantage of. Beware - you have been warned!

Michael was very professional. During this COVID19 he took every precaution to be safe by wearing a mask social distancing & socially conducting business through virtual means. The cleaning (scrubbing) of my chimney was quick and on time, however, the scrubbing is incomplete. I am also interested in a chimney liner - although Michael did not offer any references. I am still looking for a quality Chimney Liner install.
