"I am so sorry that you feel this way. While there are some correct statements in your review, they are part of a larger story. The project did take longer than the anticipated 4-6 month build time and we were very apologetic for that more than once. However, between the ONE sub we fired that caused a 40 day overall delay due to repeatedly not showing up after promising to, and all the changes made by you during the process from the approved budget and contract, and the error from your architect requiring us to move a window installed per plan that didn't allow the tub to fit in place, we did have a delay in delivering your project as promised. We also stated that the timeframe started from ground breaking, and your 10 months mentioned included the extended time to get the permit from the county. As for the items not passing code, there was only one instance of that, and we got that corrected and re-inspected in the matter of a few days. One part was a misunderstanding from the trades office to the crew, and the other part of that same inspection was the inspector just being difficult. As for the cost hikes, there were no cost expenditures that you were not aware of and that you didn't approve in writing by stating you agreed to the change in scope via email and texts, except for a few items you went around us on and asked the vendors working on site to do while they were there. The final cost overages were from overages on allowance over-runs, added work to your sons home not in the original contract, and changes from the approved plan and contract items, all of which again were documented. I did apologize for not billing some these change orders as they occurred, but I did explain that I was trying to wait to see if any allowances came under budget to help with the overall cost. And, not to mention that my PM did work on some items for you that weren't even charged. Again, I am sorry you feel this way, as I was never aware through any of our conversations, including our last meeting in my office for the billing reconciliation meeting, that you were this displeased. I always do my best to make sure our clients are happy. I wish you all the best. Cameron, LACE Construction Inc"
