Write a ReviewI hired these guys during my pool project because theyâ re who Blue Haven subcontracts to. They recommended I go â off contractâ and deal direct with Lago Vista for our pool deck and some retaining walls and I wish we wouldnâ t have. That might have given us another layer of accountability now that we are having some problems less than a year later. The initial install of our tile pool deck was fine although they never asked us what color sand we wanted and it was the opposite of the coping tile grout. They never offered to remove the sand but left me with a bag of it. I had to stay on top of them to re-cut several tiles that were very poorly cut. We also hired them to build some retaining walls, one of which is about 4â high. They didnâ t do the French drain and backfill inside correctly and I had to pay my landscape guys to re-do it. Even still their retaining wall has now moved 3/4â and thereâ s a big gap in the adjoining stone on the face of the wall. Itâ s unsightly and confirms to me that they didnâ t prepare this wall correctly. Now they wonâ t return my calls or texts and their voicemail is conveniently full. If I wouldâ ve known that this would be my experience I wouldâ ve hired a larger company with more of a public reputation and reviews that they cared about maintaining. I didnâ t hire them based on price. I asked for a quote and paid what they quoted in full. Now thereâ s no service after the sale 10 months later. To say Iâ m frustrated is an understatement.
