My AC was having issues and wasn't about to put more money into an old unit and opted for a new one. This company, it's staff, go way above and beyond just selling you a product. They have excellent customer service and communication. They did their best to make sure my family was taken care of till a unit could be replaced and answered any concerns I had through the process. Affordable, dependable, and 24 hour service. I have nothing but good things to say for this family run company. I'll be using them in the future for all my HVAC needs.

I was previously told our compressor was bad by 2 other companies prior to contacting Lake City (correct diagnosis). Couldn't afford to replace at that time. We saved up some money and tried contacting a half dozen AC pros or more and all were set up like sales offices, indicating that they couldn't give quote unless they saw the place (all said coming out would be 1 to 1.5 hrs and some would charge for visit). I let them know it was a 2nd story residential and the AC specifics. All tried to scare me into purchasing a new AC, saying something would fail on the AC if only fix compressor. One mentioned that ducts were probably bad to cause the compressor to fail so early in AC life so I'd need to fix ducts and get a new system (without looking) and all suggested best to get a new unit. None would give quotes other than to say what new unit would roughly be. Called Lake City. Talked with co-owner (Linda or Lisa??). She said her husband and her owned the business. Took my information. Gave me an estimate on phone, assuming it was compressor. Didn't try to sell me on anything. Her quote was what industry standards said it should be. She sent Jimmy, one of her techs. He let me on the roof, let me help him, explained what was going on throughout. We changed the compressor. It works. Co-owner kept to her quote and in fact it was a little less. The fix was same day by the way due to having compressor in stock. Straight up, old-school mentality with integrity. I recommend them strongly!

Adam (Lake City Air) was very professional, very thorough and kind. He examined all areas of the air conditioner before letting me know what the problem was. He outlined what his repairs would entail, how much they would cost, how long they would take, & what effect we could expect to get from his actions. I'm very impressed with Adam's knowledge base and the amount of experience he has. I would hire Lake City Air & Adam again in a heartbeat.

One of the most honest and competent companies I have run across since moving to Vegas. I'm very pleased with the result of replacing our aged AC units. The new units perform as promised and quietly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs AC and/or heating work done.

Dave of Lake City A/C was the only contractor that would take on my job. Though not really complicated it was a little out of the ordinary. A change of a/c unit stand and transition. The installer did not do what, in my opinion, was a good job on the install initially. I made my issues known to Dave and he came with the installers and made it right. That is what counts in the end. They made it right and to my satisfaction. The issue was minor but the fix of the issue was great. Totally redeemed my trust. I did not go 5 stars on all but would have had the install gone right the first time. Price was reasonable. Not a great value/price point for my budget for what I needed done but, a good one. Alas I am stuck in older times and price points because of my age. Dave handled all calls and return calls promptly and professionally. Very personable. He, like so many other contractors, is a busy man and had his guys handle the install. When things went a bit south he stepped in himself and made it right. I so appreciate that. Overall I am very, very happy because I did get what I needed and wanted with my unusual install. All I can say now is Thanks, Dave. :) You the man. You can bet he will get a call if I need more services or a new unit in the future. Oh and they did show up on time as promised!!! The crane company was a whole different story... I do hereby recommend Lake City A/C and Sheet Metal to all who need this kind of work or service.

I got 4 estimates before choosing Lake City for my air conditioning system. 1 company was cheaper but provided no estimate sheet, another company seemed very thorough but was $2,000 more, another company had such a major sales pitch and would not go away. I felt like Dave was truthful, down to earth, and understood what i needed without upselling.

I selected Lake City Air for two reasons. First, Dave, the company owner was not only professional, but personable. Second, Dave did the most thorough examination of my existing system and what was needed to make my new system work most effective and efficient. I selected this company for these reasons even though it wasn't the cheapest of the six estimates I got. Dave was early on the assigned install day and began the install process before his crew arrived on time. They worked the entire day, breaking only for lunch. They answered any questions I had and didn't mind my looking over their shoulders at various times during the day. I also met Julie, Dave's wife. She was very nice and took care of submitting the warranty info for me. The job was completed in one day; a long day for them and has been working well since it's installation. I have no problem with recommending them to family and friends who need AC installation, repairs, and maintenance. Thanks Dave and Julie.

The tech showed up on time for routine annual AC maintenance. He did a though inspection and offered some hints to improve efficiency of my units. He then replaced all the ceiling air filters which are too high for me to access. Overall Lake City did an excellent job. I'll have them back in the fall for my furnace maintenance check.

My elderly mom A/C unit was having issues this morning. I had to cut the unit off. It's August in Vegas. I received a appointment same day. 2 pm and the A/C unit is running GREAT!!! It's so cold that the tech Adam said he was cold. LOL If you need help with your unit call them. Great price. Very professional and knowledgeable on the unit I have. They were reasonably priced , friendly , not pushing to sell me a new air condition system as all the other ac repair companies , I strongly recommend using them to save your money and do the job right the first time.

Work performed was professional. He changed the blower motor and added Freon. The price of the Freon @ $75.00 per lb. I think is excessive. I checked with my service company in WI and was told they charge $35.00 lb. for this type. I was told I would receive a call 30 minutes before arrival, but I never received a call.
