Showed up on time and got the work done in the amount of time he estimated it to take. Very detailed about what was wrong and how he planned to treat and repair the issues that needed to be done for my refinance. Was glad to work with me on all the extra paperwork the refinance company wanted as well. Didn't leave a mess. Would recommend Lakeshore Restoration for your mold remediation needs!

I am writing this review for my mother who had mold removed from her basement.They did an amazing job and we highly recommend this company.They were very thorough and explained everything that they we’re going to do.We also liked that someone came to make sure the job was done satisfactorily and made sure that we were happy with the completion.They were prompt in arrival and kept at it until done.They had barriers up so my mom could stay in house during mold removal.Very happy with this company very knowledgeable and thorough.

I couldn't be happier with the service that Lakeshore did for me. After cleaning out my son's home, we found two areas of significant amounts of mold. Rigo came out within a day of my call, inspected the property and took pictures. Two days later he emailed me a quote. The following week they started work and completed the job in a week. You couldn't tell where they they had replaced portions of the walls. And, they matched the paint perfectly. All debris was removed and the house was move in ready. EXCELLENT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
