Cruz and his crew did a good job. Took a couple of days to get started but went quickly after that. The project is finished as promised. They did a real good job of matching the paint color. Was told I would get extras that didn't happen. That's okay, since I didn't pay for them.

I hired Lamar Home Solutions to install some TG siding on some bay windows on the front of my house because I did not have time to do it myself. I spoke with the owner and walked through the work with him. The first worker that showed up did not have all the tools he needed and installed the T G upside down, which would have caused it to rot faster. This worker was onsite until noon when he was pulled to work on another project, leaving all the tools at my house. They showed back up around 8:30 pm to pick it up. A second worker came the next day and removed the wrongly installed siding, but he showed up with no tools and ended up raiding my tools to do the work. In fact, he had no tools and none were ever brought for him. By noon it was apparent that he did not know what he was doing. I ended up having to take off work and use him as a helper to do the work myself. At the end of the day I expressed my displeasure, having paid 50% upfront and not getting a competent carpenter to do the work. I was willing to pay for the time of the worker as a helper, but I wanted some of my deposit back. The owner and I settled on a reimbursement and he said that he would bring me a check. Two weeks and plenty of promises later, he has run off with almost $500 of my money. It is clear now that the work was over his head. He wasted much of my material that I had bought in the numerous attempts to install it, leaving me to have to buy more material just to finish it myself. The workers appeared to be day laborers and not employed by the Owner. I would not recommend the company, they do not honor their word. If you do, I do not recommend paying an advance more than material costs (but I would be weary of that as well).

Will redo work if customer is not satisfied.

Had to closely monitor and inspect to insure that standards were met. Used a single worker that could not speak English.

I hired Lamar Home Solutions to replace some siding on exterior of home, remove living room baseboards and replace with new baseboards and paint ting living area. 10/6/20 he brought a worker here, had him remove siding on exterior, remove living baseboards and replace and paint living. Cruz, the owner, the left property. Worker he left here did not know how to cut baseboards correctly and they were not mitered at corners. He just cut small pieces of wood and stuck in corners. Twice I had to ask worker to put on his mask. I had satin finish and flat paint and explained where to paint with each paint. At 4 pm I again ask worker to put on his mask and informed him the baseboards were not cut correctly. At that point, I called the owner Cruze Costello to inform him he needed to come and see this work. He left the worker unsupervised all day. At that point, the worker got mad and stomped off the job leaving tools strewn all over the yard. Costello had even took junk out of this truck early in the am and left in my yard. Mr. Cruz finally showed around 7pm, agreeing that the work was awful and he would bring someone else the next day to correct. The next day the worker did know what he was doing with baseboards and did correctly but used different finishes of paint on same walls. When Cruz came back in the evening he ask my partner for the balance of the project and was paid even though project was not finished. The next day I showed Cruz Costello the paint problem and he (did not like talking to a woman obviously). And said they would repaint but would have to be paid more. I disagreed. I left and went to pick up another gallon of flat paint from Ecowise which was non-toxic paint at 50.00 per gallon. We still had a gallon of the same flat paint that was 3/4 full which was more than enough to paint the entire living. I returned with another gallon and the gallon that was 3/4 full was gone. I called Cruz Costello and ask where my other paint was and he reported he had taken it to the home maintenance store to match it. Mind you this was special paint from Ecowise that the home maintenance store does not carry. Cruz Costello stated the store said the paint was no good. I had just bought the paint at Ecowise and saw them mix it! All this time Cruz Costello continued to try to call my partner at work because he did not want to talk to a woman. Also this same day a new worker he left to paint never wore his mask and when I ask he replied with *no English*. I called Cruz Costello and ask that he replace my paint and he stated he left it at the store. He stated he would repay me for it. End of day he wanted an additional 200.00 for 2 siding boards replaced on back of house. My living room is still not finished painted, it is a mess! I paid Cruz Costello the additional 200.00 and told him my living room was not finished forgetting that he promised to pay for my paint he took. I text him later and reminded him he owes me for the paint. He responded that he would see me today. It is now 3:36 pm and no word from Cruz Costello! He was paid a total of $2,350 to paint a 300 sq ft living room which he did not complete, replace baseboards in 300 sq ft living and replace 4 siding board on exterior! I was completely ripped off! Do not hire LAMAR HOME SOLUTIONS! I am a nurse and even the owner Cruz Costello wore his mask under his nose when talking to me! Worst homework experience I have ever had and have built 2 homes and many remodel jobs, never experienced such disrespect, rip off, and lousy work!

Cruz was very friendly and came a day earlier than expected and finished my window framing and gate repair in one afternoon in the 101 degree heat! And was very friendly about all of it. I will hire him again for more work I want done!

They were great. They inspected my roof the same day I requested and fixed it quickly the following day. I will definitely use them again.

Get several estimates. Get them in writing. Make sure everything checks out before paying down payment. Most important, check completed work very carefully before paying again.

I had to call him three times to come to finish the work. He would tell me he was coming the next day, and he would not show up. He blamed it on his crew lying to him. I finally texted and told him I was going to file a lawsuit on him, and he showed up the next day and finished the work. Never again.

Very knowledgeable about the needs of the job and what needed to be done with the siding. Very satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend Lamar Home Solutions.

Came out did work and the roof is still leaking

*UPDATED REVIEW It seems that the leaks in my roof were not fixed. Cruz did return to reassess problem after multiple calls and texts. He did not charge me, but there is no way for me to tell if the situation is fixed until the next rain. Cruz said he would return, if needed. Prompt and quick. Seemingly well qualified. Provides pictures of work done and assessed for additional problems.

I contacted Cruz at Lamar Home Solutions to renail some of my wood house siding. The big job however was building a roof over a second floor terrace which I thought he could do because of his roofing experience. Had a good initial meeting that confirmed their capability to do the work. Lumber was delivered the next week but the work didn’t start right away and was intermittent over 10 days. It took half the time to complete than was estimated. Cruz aims to please and is easy to work with and always answers his phone. And most of all am happy with the results.

Cruz was the first professional to call. He was fast, efficient, professional, and easy to work with. With a storm coming in, he got to work and fixed not one but 2 holes in the roof. UPDATE 7-2-2020: Unfortunately, the roof leaked with the next rain, and he has not come back to resolve the issue.

Cruz and his team did a great job. Replaced everything as planned and then some more to make the job right. Attention to detail was excellent. The brick was protected from the paint and the entire house looks great. Will use them again when the next opportunity arises.

They called me immediately after I posted my project, gave me a fair quote over the phone and completed the work the very same day. They did an excellent job with my roof repair. I will definitely use them again if needed.
