"The Bill [Consumer name withheld at their request] recollection about the situation and events is absolutely false. He states: "brief inspection." The first thing I always look at first is the compressor! Is it running? It was not! So there was no need to look at evaporator at that time. No filter drier was ever installed, Improper sized copper lines help lead to the compressor failure and leakage along with extremely dirty condenser coils. He called another contractor to get a price for a new one just like he did me. He requested the $400.00 of Freon, for my offering price of $200.00 and signed for approval for a $200.00 discounted price I was willing to give him. His complaint was a spiteful act because I would not agree to basically do the job for nothing. He waited 6 weeks to complain. All the things wrong with his air conditioner was due to improper installation by another company, Lack of maintenance on Bills [Consumer name withheld at their request] part, yes, his own fault and he attempts to blame me. BILL[Consumer name withheld at their request]clearly states in his complaint, "IT WAS AN OLD UNIT AND I CONSIDERED REPLACING IT."THEN HE CONTRADICTS HIMSELF BY STATING " I TOLD HIM TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE." HE JUST GOT THROUGH STATING IT WAS OLD AND HE CONSIDERED REPLACING; IN THE SAME COMPLAINT BUT HOLDS ME ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS OWN ACKNOWLEDMENT ABOUT HIS NEED TO REPLACE HIS OWN OLD UNIT. He e-mailed me requesting a proposal for a new one and I sent him one, at his request. He even complained about the noise his furnace in the hallway makes. and his current system has never cooled his house properly. And that is why two rooms in his home,he had the vents closed. I carry instrument's for repairs not miracle sticks! I was at his home during 100 degree temperature's and approached his issues just like the other homeowners who rated me 5 stars. His complaint was spiteful and unnecessary and lacks any merit. He also fails to mention I was at his home late on a Friday afternoon when parts houses were closing. He also fails to mention I told him around lunch time I would attempt to squeeze him into my schedule that day but already had a full docket. Bill[Consumer name withheld at their request] said he had heart problems so I attempted to get to his home to see if I could help him and told him if his problem was major it would have to be the following week for repairs or replacements, whichever he chose!"
