I hired German to transform my side yard based on his promising portfolio and positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. The initial consultation was promising, outlining a comprehensive plan and timeline. However, once the work began, issues quickly arose. Communication was inconsistent, with frequent delays in responding to calls. When the crew finally arrived, they seemed unprepared and lacked attention to detail. The quality of workmanship was disappointing. German promised the river stones as per our liking but it was far from it, low quality river stones were used, moreover they were unevenly laid. The final invoice exceeded significantly than the initially quoted price without adequate justification. Attempts to discuss these discrepancies with German have been met with defensiveness and a lack of accountability. Overall, my experience with German's landscaping work has been deeply disappointing. I cannot recommend their services based on the lack of professionalism, poor workmanship, and inadequate customer service. I felt cheated and ripped off.

I ADVISE YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THE OWNER AND HIS BUSINESS!!!! The short story... German Chavez-Perez - Owner of Oregons Pro Landscapes LLC Oregon Landscape Contractors Board:  16067 Oregon Business Registry: 1465471-95 Was hired on  08/17/2023 to do a residential landscaping project for me which included building a retaining wall, grading the landscape, drainage, electrical for lighting, and other misc items. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU HIRE OR WORK WITH HIM AFTER MY EXPERIENCE OF WHAT I FELT WAS THEFT! The short story is that German was paid over $5,000 in labor and material and provided little to no labor for the project.  My front yard was left as a construction zone because he and one of his laborers did a half day job of minor excavation and never came back.  I have full and complete evidence of this that has already been provided to the LCB and uploaded online to view. I filed a complaint with the Oregon Landscape Contractors Board (LCB) and it was determined by the board that he was operating under violations and will be issued a penalty.  I still HAVE NOT received any money back from German. The longer detailed story... We agreed that I would pay for the materials directly with the vendors and I would pay him directly.  His methods of payments for me to send him included through Apple Pay, Zelle, CashApp and Venmo.  He asked me for payments on a Friday evening before starting the work and I made the mistake of paying him in full over the next week for labor and one off materials in the amount of over ~$5,000.  I believe it was 8 separate payments in total that I sent him.  This was truly a lesson learned from me.  Normally I would have not done that, but it was a referral from a general contractor who was his family member that I worked with in the past. German was the one who provided commitment dates and when he would show up.  He just never showed up.  I always texted him with what I felt was courteous and wanted to check on his status and that I was fine with my project being delayed if he just kept me in the loop.  Eventually I realized he was just not going to show up and that was in fact true.  Once I realized that the first week of September, I asked him to cancel the project and send me a full refund of what was paid and all the materials purchased.   Following that he would take days to reply and his replies would state that he would come with the refund and would provide the day he would come.   HE NEVER CAME.  This is basically the whole story as of today.  I will update my review based on any updates I have over time. As of now, I am out over $5,000 with pretty much nothing to show for. I ADVISE YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY AND HIS BUSINESS!!!!

Great company for building fences!

German has been doing my landscaping for many years. For the service we get and price we pay, we feel like there isn't a better value in the area. I appreciate how if there is ever any issues, German has no problem coming back and making sure he corrects it!
