PDM landscaping

Phil sold himself to my husband and I for leveling yard and installing a sprinkler system... It took him double time to complete the job and the sprinkler system has to be redone. Lawn in back was all crab grass after he filled with cheap landfill. He broke my deck and when we call him about issues we get no call back. Paid for lawn treatment spring and fall got nothing and now he is supposed to blow lines out and my husband did himself and Phil never put in a shut-off valve so the whole well needs to be shut off… I would never recommend him to anyone. He is a nice guy until after he sell you on his services and then is Mia!! Sprinklers are hitting house and not the whole lawn heads were broken and limes not buried far enough in the ground. Could have saved myself the money and did a better job ourselves.

I hired Phil to level out my yard , which meant he had to bring in fill dirt and top soil and level it. I also was going to have him reseed. He gave me a price of $6,000.00 dollars, I gave him $3,000.00 dollars up front and the balance to be paid upon completion of the job. He showed up with his employee Neal and Neals Bob Cat. I told Phil to take his time I was in No rush, that was a big mistake. Fill dirt was delivered which was not the greatest. (It should be noted that I own my own loader and a grader, but because a medical condition my wife made me hire someone to do the job.) It appeared that Neal was the person who knew what he was doing and the person doing the work. Phil showed up a couple of times and mostly did not do much. Then after a couple of weeks he calls and wants me to pay the balance plus an additional $500.00 dollars. Then he shows up with his so called partner Steve. Phil was very hostile when I said I was not paying him any more until the job was done, he even went to the point of threatening me. I immediately terminated his employment at my home and told him to leave my property, I was almost to the point of calling the Police. But his partner Steve, got him off the property and I have never seen him since. If you get involved with this individual insure that you get a complete contract to include amount, stipulation of a schedule of payments and the quality of materials to be used. I found out that he never paid the guy with the Bob Cat any money. Considering the amount of fill dirt he had delivered, He had more than enough to pay the Bob Cat operator.
